Accommodations

Long revered as one of the most popular 40' Sedan Bridges ever produced the Sea Ray 400SB with her two state rooms, two heads, and mid-level galley layout, this luxurious head turning vessel is the perfect entertainer. The master is forward with a walk-around queen berth, two hanging lockers, as well as built in drawers for more storage space than you'll ever need, and a 13" TV/VCR, dual Cruise Air marine air conditioning systems with reverse cycle heat to keep the climate just the way you like it. There is also convenient lighting complimenting these comfortable and upscale accommodations. The ensuite head is equipped with Vac-U-Flush toilet (no stagnant odors due to the use of fresh water instead of sea water), a mirrored vanity, molded-in sink and separate stall shower. The guest stateroom is mid ship to port with twin berths that convert to a king berth when you prefer to really stretch out, has a hanging locker with a mirrored door, plenty of storage space, and cleverly shares access to the second head which is fitted out as well as the master head. The galley, with its beautiful cherry wood high gloss paneling, beautiful and low maintenance molded counter tops and sink makes it easy to prepare meals, as well as to clean up afterwards. The galley is fully equipped and features the following appliances: a full-size upright Norcold refrigerator with freezer that runs on both 12V DC and 110V AC power for added safety for your food stores, a 3 burner flush-mounted electric stove, a c microwave-convection oven, and an ice maker. Also included for your further convenience are: an electric exhaust fan, fresh water tank level indicator, and a Lazy Susan type pantry arrangement. To port of the galley you'll find the face-to-face dinette which is elevated for better visibility of your surroundings. The roomy salon with its elegant cherry interior, wood galley flooring, LCD TV and AM/FM/6 CD changer stereo system, and its electric leather sofa to port, offer both comfort and roominess for plenty of guests to lounge about. Lastly, there is a handy and very essential central vacuum cleaner system to clean up after everyone leaves.

Hull, Deck & Exterior

The bow is set up with a S.S. Bow Sprint and a Lofrans Progress windlass to make anchoring a simple matter, and the entire bow is fitted with a S.S. safety rail. A deck hatch is also located on deck for added ventilation or for a speedy egress in case of an emergency. Aft in the cockpit you’ll find there is a transom door with a gate for easy access, a transom seat with storage beneath, a fiberglass swim/dive platform w/ a ladder, a hot & cold freshwater shower, a dockside freshwater hook up, dockside cable TV and phone hook ups, and fishing rod holders for those anglers who may venture aboard the roomy cockpit does lend itself well to fishing. The spacious bridge is well thought out and practical for cruising or entertaining with its aviation style helm station, its full canvas enclosure (New in 2014). Not to mention the bridge seating, with its twin helm chairs, an additional guest settee, and a large U-shaped settee with a fiberglass table, makes it easy to enjoy refreshments or a snack with an unimpeded 360 degree view.

Mechanical

The factory optional Cummins 6CTA 8.3s have only aprox. 850 Well Maintained hours. The Glendenning engine synchronizer keeps them completely in Sync and purring, while the automatic oil change system for both of the engines and the generator makes maintaining your machinery a pleasure. Sea Ray's patented quiet underwater exhaust will amaze you in its stealth. Bennett trim tabs keep everything on the level with the push of a button. The automatic Halon fire control system adds the safety you demand for your family, as well as your sizeable investment. The Groco raw water sea strainers on the engines keep debris from spoiling your trips. Also installed are low oil pressure alarms, engine temperature alarms, engine room sound insulation, a bilge blower, and easy to maintain Racor primary fuel filters to remove sediment and impurities from your diesel, eliminating fuel problems before they occur. There are 3 Co2 detectors for added safety from carbon monoxide.
