Overview

At 74 feet overall and displacing 155,000 pounds, Magata is a serious transoceanic trawler, capable of taking you safely to any port of call. She offers uncompromising accommodations with three staterooms and three heads for owners and guests. The owner’s stateroom is a full beam master with a walk around queen berth, in suite head and private stairwell. Crew quarters are provided by a fourth stateroom (twins) and full head aft of the engine room with private access from the cockpit which also has an on deck day head. The raised pilothouse provides panoramic views forward for the helmsman and includes a large dinette table to comfortably seat 4-5 guests while underway. Pilothouse Dutch doors on each side provide access to the Portuguese bridge with a walk through to the foredeck for anchoring. The covered side decks have wide walkways with high bulwarks for moving fore and aft safely at sea. Up on the flying bridge is an expansive dinette for entertaining with a serving bar, sink and barbeque. A factory fiberglass hardtop offers protection from the elements. Forward of the dinette are two helm chairs and an enclosed dash panel with a full complement of navigation electronics. Aft is the boat deck and hydraulic davit for launching the tender at a moment’s notice.
