"Vagabond" is a rare Shannon 28 with a brand new Universal diesel engine and all the extras! She just retuned from a cruise to Cuba, and is eagerly awaiting her next adventure. Be the one to share it with her!
This classic design has been sought after for years by sailors who appreciate the solid little ship's lines, build, and performance. She's a modified fin keeled pocket cruiser (solid construction, no keel bolts), cutter rigged, and turn-key. Among the many upgrades and extras are:
The Shannon 28 is sought after for good reason. This little ship is just as comfortable as she is seaworthy. Upon stepping down through the companionway, you are met with a u-shaped galled to starboard and a full enclosed (very large for a boat this size) head and shower to port. The centerline table is fitted around the keel-stepped mast, and can fold out to seat 6 or be stowed for easy passage through the cabin. Sea berths/settees line either side, with ample storage behind and beneath each. The v-berth is fully private and is large enough for two to sleep comfortably. All cushions are in great shape, and the joinery and interior woodwork is stunning. This is the "passagemaker" layout (Shannon built three different layout options). She's ready to sail and ready to be lived aboard! With central air and a large house battery bank (charged by solar), you'll be living in luxury about this pocket cruiser whether at the dock or at sea!
