Overview

The Shelter Island 38 Runabout is an elegant, beautifully built, very fast, downeast styled express cruising yacht, well suited for family picnic outings, weekend cruising or commuting to vacation destinations.
She is one of very few yachts which combines speed (40+ knot cruise), grace, comfort and quiet.

Hound" is the hardtop version of the Shelter Island Runabout and is particularly handsome with her dark green awl-gripped topsides and varnished teak trim; she is equipped with the finest in electronics and equipment and is in excellent condition throughout. Save tens of thousands over the cost of a new boat.

Accommodations

Sleeps two on comfortable settees with filler piece for double berth. Beautifully finished and practical interior , well suited for weekend cruising.
The teak cabin sole is gloss finished and the white bulkheads are accented by gloss varnished teak trim. Ample storage is provided. The cushions are upholstered in green ultra suede and are a full 5" thick for extra comfort.
