The 52 Ovation was built by Silverton Marine Corporation to be its new flagship brand and set a new standard of luxury for a vessel her size. Attention to detail is on full display with warm cherry wood work throughout, designer fabrics and upgraded hardware. Extremely spacious in all areas, she feels like a much bigger boat. Thanks to her optional (3) IPS 600 joy stick controlled pod drives she is extremely easy to maneuver. Combine that maneuverability with walk around side decks and you have yourself a perfect couples or family cruising vessel. “Mon Chateau” has been highly customized, continuously maintained and loved by her original owners. Below please find some of her highlights and features.
Walkthrough
Starting aft in the cockpit of “Mon Chateau” you instantly notice the space. Her teak laden aft deck, swim platform and steps certainly add a custom element to her appearance. There is an athwartships bench seat across the transom with plenty of room for a table and chairs should they be desired. A transom door on the starboard side leads out to the teak hydraulic swim platform. Facing fwd on either side of the house there are 3 teak steps up to walk around decks for easy line handling. Another nice feature is the teak stairwell and stainless railing leading up to the bridge. Having this in lieu of a ladder makes the transition from aft deck to bridge easier and safer. Other aft deck features include……
Main Salon
You enter the main salon from the aft deck through a large tinted sliding glass door. The salon features rich satin finished cherry wood with select high gloss trim and burl inlays. There is a beige leather sofa to starboard with a handsome little coffee table. To port is a Sharp Aquos flat screen pop up TV neatly packaged between 2 comfortable reclining chairs. Large windows give it a very open feeling. Other highlights include:
Galley and Dinette
Two steps up from the salon is the raised galley and dinette. The area remains open to the salon for an open and festive feeling. Large windows give plenty of natural light. The galley is well appointed for ship board cooking and dinning.
Lower Accommodations
Four steps down from the galley leads us to the foyer and the lower accommodations. The upgraded wall coverings, fabrics and attention to detail are evident everywhere you turn. For example, the doors to staterooms and heads have pattered leather inlays and upgraded hardware. The flooring is hardwood.
Standing in the foyer facing the bow is the VIP stateroom. A day head is to starboard with the ability for private VIP stateroom access. A separate shared shower to port, also with VIP access allows someone to use the head while another showers across the hall. The opulent full beam master stateroom is aft. Last but not least also to port is a third state room with a single berth that coverts down to a double.

Master Stateroom
The master stateroom is positioned aft and utilizes the full beam of the vessel for max volume and stability. The berth is a full walk around island queen with a beveled mirror headboard. She has (3) vertical hull side windows both port and starboard for tons of natural light. Some of the additional master stateroom highlights include:
Flybridge
The weather protected, air conditioned flybridge on “MON CHATEAU” is absolutely massive. It is accessed from a convenient aft deck stairwell. There is a spacious u shaped seating area all the way aft around a dinette table. To port is a wet bar complete with an electric grill, sink and ice maker. Forward on the bridge is the fully complimented navigation station. There is a bench seat to port and two barrel chairs facing forward the captain and co pilot. Additional bridge features include:
Engine Room
The engine room is easily accessible from the aft deck though a hatch leading down. It is very well laid out and extremely clean and tidy. The same attention to detail throughout the rest of the vessel is equally evident in the nerve center of the vessel. The (3) recently serviced (7/17) Volvo IPS 600 model engines are easy to get around, inspect and work on. Other engine room highlights include…….
