Accommodations

Forward are two stacked bunks with stowage lockers and chain locker below cabin sole. Aft are lockers and nav table, and double berth to starboard. The forward head is to port of the companionway, with combination shower. Aft is the entertainment saloon and steps up to the wheel house. Galley is port. Large private cabin aft with queen size bunk. Stereo, TV, VCR, entertainment system.
Custom hardwood bright finished steamed cherry joinery throughout. Mahogany ceiling beams. Oroko and Sitka spruce custom inlaid sole.

Galley is forward of aft cabin and two steps are taken up to the main split-level salon. The salon houses a large entertaining settee with convertible dinette, and the helm is across from the settee. The table has a custom two burner built in LPG cooktop, two steps down forward to the salon proper with a very sophisticated stereo system and bar/locker storage with refrigerator/freezer chest.

Navigation station to starboard and a private double cabin to port forward of the salon. Another full head with shower and Vacu-flush MSD, basin. The focsle is completed in bright cherry trim with two bunks and a storage chest. Cedar-lined lockers throughout the vessel. Soles are inlaid teak/Oroko spruce with bright finish. There is a stainless lined clothes washer dryer unit on board.

    Masts and Rigging

    Staysail Schooner with Cutter rig with two aft-raked aluminum spars with aluminum spreaders and stainless steel 7/17" wire rope shrouds on the forward mast and 3/8" shrouds aft. The main mast is triple shrouded and the after mast is doubled. Chain plates are through-bolted to the fall home of the upper hull. The booms are freshly finished wood in bright white linear polyurethane. The bow is cutter rigged with wood bow-sprit, Chain Bobstay and dolphin striker. Double davits/convertible swim ladder aft with Rule electric davit winch at the transom and an auxiliary radar/electronics mast to starboard.

    Remarks

    Sturdy offshore yacht with a lovely cherrywood interior. Skookum yachts are renowned for strength and performance. This yacht has had a new interior fitted in Port Townsend in 1998 and shows in pristine condition. Three staterooms, two head layout. Full displacment hull form for maximum stability underway and large interior volume for living and stowage capability. The yacht is 68' overall with bowsprit. Owners are building a new yacht and so "FRAULEIN" is ready for new horizons.
