Overview

This 48' Tollycraft  has gone through a major updating of electronics, interior, engine room and other miscellaneous items over the years. Vessel has had the benefit of being kept in a boat house between 1992 and 2002.  Therefore all of the interior wood is in excellent condition!  She has also been kept in fresh water since 2007 as well.

As a big plus also this is one of  the rare 48' Tollycrafts with desirable Caterpillar 3208T Engines rated at 300hp.   A very low 2,400 hours indicated on the hour meters.  Very tidy engine compartment.

Many electronics, Hot Water Webasto diesel furnace with Everhot,  washer-dryer and counter tops where professionally installed by the premier outfit, Pacific Coast Yacht Service.  Current owner is only the fourth.

Accommodations
This really clean 48 Tollycraft features a well laid out tri cabin arrangement. This layout provides ideal privacy between the two sleeping suites on the vessel, a distinct advantage over pilothouse designs. Forward in the bow is a private guest cabin featuring an oversized vee berth with filler cushion and custom fitted mattress pads & sheets. There is copious storage throughout this cabin. To port is the guest head which has an upgraded VacuFlush toilet and unlike other 48' Tollycraft, this head features a rare functional shower with an independent Grohe shower ensemble and draw curtain. Moving aft, the galley is located to port. Directly across is nice enclosed dinette booth with upgraded table top and wood trim matching the galley upgrades described below. Moving up three steps is the main salon. The main salon is expansive, light and airy featuring (typical of Ed Monk designs) large windows with superior visibility and well suited to entertaining. Salon side windows have custom Duette© window coverings. The lower helm is located in the salon on the forward starboard side. To port is a breakfast counter with three decorative chairs. Of note are sliding doors on both sides of the vessel for easy access to safe, functional and full length side decks. Aft to port is a large L shaped settee with a hi/lo table suitable for seating up to six adults. Directly across to starboard is decorative chest and chair. At the aft end of the salon are stairs leading to the upper helm, as in a pilot house design vessel. Moving down and further aft is the master stateroom with a walk around queen size berth. Again there is ample storage in this cabin. The stateroom has been completely redecorated with new countertops and custom Duette© side curtains. This master stateroom has, of course, it's own large head with VacuFlush toilet and holding tank monitor. The shower stall is separate with a folding glass door. In this master is a Splendide© combo washer-dryer, custom installed in the port side closet.

Galley
The U-shaped galley is located on the port side forward and features many appliances. The stove and oven were just upgraded to a propane, 3 burner, Force Ten range. All the counter tops have been updated and upgraded with custom wood trim. There is a separate purified drinking water dispenser and an InstaHot water supply next to the double galley sink.

On the port side of the aft deck is an electric davit for a dinghy. Up a few more steps is the upper helm area. Also located on the aft starboard side is the entrance to the lower helm and salon area. Unlike a pilot-house design, visibility from the upper helm forward, aft and to the sides of the vessel is much better, greatly easing close quarters maneuvering. Bridge canvas consists of the following: console cover, full winter bridge cover, full bimini, helm seat & bench seat covers. There are sunscreen and privacy coverings for master stateroom & salon windows. There are two extra props going with vessel along with one extra shaft as well.
