Overview
The Clyde 20 ton class was originally commissioned by the Clyde Corinthian Sailing
Club, to a design by the great Alfred Mylne (Kelpie, Atlantide, Thendara, The Blue
Peter, Albyn). Of the five built, only Tigris survives, and they were known for their
outstanding seaworthiness, with a good turn of speed in a stiff breeze. (Tigris won
her class at St Tropez in 2013) Now for sale in the first time in many years, Tigris
represents a great opportunity to purchase a vessel in near original configuration, in
excellent condition, and capable of continuing the regatta-winning tradition for many
generations to come
