Walkthrough

ILLUSIONS is a well-designed and thought out yacht which has had continuous improvement over the many years this owner has owned her. The design separates the below deck accommodations into three distinct areas situated on either side of the engine room. Her design provides the quietest and most comfortable sleeping areas and makes the most use of the entire volume of the hull.  Three of the four staterooms are full beam and the fourth is ¾ beam.  The crew are separated in the bow and the stern.  The salon is extensive and has many individual areas for intimate relaxation. The flybridge/sundeck is full beam and spacious with lots of options for lounging or sunbathing. The foredeck is truly a guest area with a large teak covered deck and a four-person Jacuzzi with sun bathing cushions all around.  The aft deck has dining and lounging areas and gives access via a wide staircase to large swim platform with submersible TNT lift.  The lift carries the Jet Tender when under way and becomes a submersible beach when at anchor.  Amazingly, this yacht has full walk around teak covered decks.

Main Salon And Dining

Entering the large and long main salon from the aft deck glass and stainless-steel sliding doors, there is a staircase to port which descends to the aft crew cabin and one guest stateroom. An entertainment center is situated to port and forward of the staircase. The entertainment center is well equipped with a 55” pop up TV, PlayStation, DVD, Bluetooth accessibility etc. A comfortable seating area with coffee table is situated opposite to starboard to enjoy the entertainment and game center. Moving forward to port there is another comfortable couch with coffee table and armchairs. There are armchairs with games table to starboard and a second staircase giving access to the Master and VIP full beam staterooms. Moving further forward in the main salon there is a circular dining table with seating for eight to ten guests.  

Continuing forward to starboard is a corridor that runs forward to a third forward staircase giving access to two additional VIP staterooms and crew cabins. To port along this corridor is, first, a sliding door to a large day head and, second, a sliding door to the large commercially equipped Galley.  Additionally, there is a half deck staircase to the raised pilot house. To starboard there is a side wing door accessing the walk around side decks.

Galley

The galley is large and situated in the extreme forward end of the house.  There is a port side wing door in the galley.  The equipment is all high quality commercial. The counter tops are black granite and the floors are commercial grade.  The galley also has a 32-inch TV to give inspiration to the chef from the satellite TV system which is distributed throughout the yacht.

Forward Master, Crew Cabins And Laundry Area

Descending the stairs at the forward end of the main deck corridor there is a small lower foyer.  Aft is a large full beam Master stateroom.  Forward there is a crew area with two en-suite cabins sleeping 4 crew.  The Master stateroom has an oversized King bed and a Vanity and seating to Port.  To starboard is the en-suite head, shower and wash basin.  There is also a large wall mounted TV with full satellite reception.  Forward of the lower foyer is the door to the crew area which also hides the laundry center with two Bosch washers and dryers.

Wheelhouse

The wheelhouse is up the half deck staircase from the corridor.  It is a large wheelhouse with comfortable seating to port with a table.  This seating area can convert to a large bed when additional crew or guests are present.  A mobile 55” TV can be installed to starboard opposite the table and seating area.  The wheelhouse is well equipped and surfaces are leather covered and in excellent condition.  There is a half deck staircase aft to starboard with stainless steel and tinted glass sliding door/hatch, giving access to the large, comfortable and well-appointed sundeck.

Flybridge

The fly bridge is a huge and fun area with different areas for lounging sunbathing and relaxing.  It is entirely carpeted with grey indoor-outdoor carpet.  There are full maneuvering controls and all navigational equipment is repeated from the wheelhouse.  There are three comfortable helm chairs. All cushions and covers have recently been renewed 2017.  There is a large gas BBQ and wet bar.  A 32” Sunbrite TV pops up from the bar. The seating area and table is adjustable to form a sunbathing pad.  The Bimini top was replaced in 2016.  There are two articulating umbrellas to provide shade when and where desired. Moving aft there are two separate seating areas to port and starboard with coffee tables. There are two Davits on the aft of the flybridge deck.  The port davit was replaced with an extendable 3000# UMT unit in 2012. The starboard davit is a smaller (possibly) 2000# original unit.  In addition, in this area are two 110 Volt Chest freezers with covers. Two twelve-man recently inspected (9/17) life rafts are stored to port and starboard.

Midship Master And VIP Suite

The Midship Master is accessed via the midship staircase on the starboard side of the Main Salon.  Descending to a foyer and short corridor, the Master is located forward.  It has a king-sized bed, en-suite head, shower and washbasin. There is a couch on the starboard side. There is a 32” TV on the bulkhead and a monitor repeating that program behind the glass mirror in the full beam en-suite bathroom. Aft down a short corridor with storage lockers is the door to the VIP suite. This is a full beam suite with oversized queen bed with vanity seating to port and an en-suite head, shower and washbasin through a sliding door to starboard. Both are large and comfortably appointed staterooms.

Aft Stateroom And Crew Quarters

The aft guest stateroom is accessed via the staircase in the aft port side of the salon. Descending the staircase to a small foyer and corridor, there is an upholstered double paneled door enclosing the main switch panel. Forward is the door to the engine room. To port and aft is the entrance to the three-berth crew cabin with en-suite head, shower and washbasin. Each berth has its own TV with access to the satellite system and DVDs. At the aft of the cabin there is a watertight door to the lazarette where there is a small work bench to starboard, the watermaker, hydraulics, house batteries, transformer, autopilot and steering pumps. The aft guest stateroom is accessed through the starboard door in the lower corridor.  This stateroom has a king-sized bed with en-suite head, shower and washbasin forward.

Boat Deck And Equipment

Stepping out of the main salon to the aft deck there is a circular dining table which will seat eight comfortably. Along the aft bulkhead there is a bench seat. In an enclosure to port are full maneuvering controls for the yacht. Electrical connections for shore power are situated outboard to port and starboard. In addition there is 30Amp 220Volt supply on port and starboard for visitors to raft up for the night. There is a wide easy staircase to the large swim deck. There is a hot and cold fresh water shower and plenty of beach toy storage below and in the transom bulkhead door. A TNT hydraulic platform is aft of the swim deck. This platform is where the Sea Doo Jet boat is stored.  The platform lowers into the water to launch the tender and then becomes an adjustable beach which can be raised and lowered to suit. It is very convenient to divers with heavy equipment.

Foredeck And Side Decks

Port and starboard from the aft deck the yacht has wide teak clad walk around side decks. Midships to Port and Starboard are two wing doors and on the Starboard side there is a fiddley door to the engine room. The foredeck is large and a true guest area with all new covers and cushions surrounding a four-man Jacuzzi.The foredeck is expansive and teak covered and a perfect area to relax in the sun or in the evening in the Jacuzzi.
