Sea Doo

Sea Doo is the water thrusting jet-bike, sport cruisers and sport yachts line, made by BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products).

Back in 1937, Joseph Armand Bombardier received his first patent for industrial manufacturing of caterpillar track-equipped snowmobiles. In 1942 he started his Bombardier Recreational Products company, which was first meant as a snowmobile manufacturing enterprise. In time the assortment has widened. In 1968, the Sea Doo line was created with the first water jetty bike, which in reality was a modified trackless snowmobile. This created the BRP water recreation vehicle line, which was completed with such products as the sport cruisers and yachts. In 1994, within Sea Doo there was introduced the first in the world, water thrusting motor boat - a four seater model 4.4 meters long.

Nowadays, there are more than 7000 employees working at BRP on four different continents. BRP specializes in making quality sport motor vehicles, including motor boats, cruisers and yachts of the Sea Doo brand line. The immense manufacturing experience lets the company keep the leading positions in engine and handling systems development for water and land utility vehicles.
