Overview

THALASSA is a well-equipped 2004 64' Alaskan RPMY, powered with twin 3126 IB CAT diesels. Accommodations for six in 3 double cabins and 2 heads with showers. Built with many upgrades and followed up by continual improvements and new equipment as needed.

VESSEL WALKTHROUGH

This 64' Alaskan Pilothouse was originally built for the former owner of a 60' Grand Alaskan Pilothouse with substantial improvements and additions. Her current owner continued to upgrade the yacht with recent improvements and equipment.

The yachts built in this series were originally designed as a 60' Pilothouse. The 64' Pilothouse model allows for two additional feet in the aft deck/cockpit area and two additional feet in the salon, which includes the area below with an extra two feet in the lazarette and an extra two feet in the engine room. This yacht is Hull No. 30 of this series.

THALASSA was built in the Tania Yard and is of very high quality. She represents a very special opportunity to buy a 64' pilothouse and take advantage of an owner who specified a tremendous number of upgrades after studying plans and specifications of previous hulls.

The interior of this yacht is of hand chosen teak paneling and was built following custom blueprints with specific cabinets, drawers, lockers, doors, valances, headboards, etc., defined and specified by the original purchaser who is now making this yacht available for sale. The lighting and wiring systems of this yacht include halogen lighting throughout as well as additional lighting per lighting and wiring plans also pre-approved prior to construction by the original purchaser.

The aft deck/cockpit area has a large built-in seat with storage below, custom hi-lo table, a cabinet with icemaker, built-in sink and storage below, wing doors, non-skid surface, port and starboard side gate doors, and an opening gate door to the integrated swim platform which has its own integrated hydraulically-raised hatch housing the stainless steel custom swim ladder. In addition, the owner specified an extension of the upper deck area so this entire area is under cover and could be enclosed, if desired. There is also a large hatch in this area, which leads down into the lazarette/engine room.

This yacht has complete walkaround decks with bulwarks and forward Portuguese/wave-breaking bridge for additional safety. The large foredeck has a double Capstan windlass with two opening hatches for chain lockers and double anchor rollers. In addition there is shore service available forward and a built in seat with storage below just ahead of the Portuguese Bridge. The yacht is equipped with a 120 lb Bruce anchor on the starboard side with 350’ of chain rode and a 75 lb CQR style anchor with 150’ chain and 600' of 3/4” rode on the port side.
