Galene an Albin 28 TE (Tournament Express) re-powered in 2009 with 620 hours has been meticulously maintained by its present owners with the maintenance done by the yard. The 28 TE has a downeast flare in design with a practical deck layout for fishing or family cruising that accommodates 4 comfortably.  The prop protected skeg increases tracking and stability for any sea condition equipped with a fuel efficient Yanmar Diesel which is the motor of choice for the Albin.  The traditional looking 28 Albin is heavily built on a modify-V hull with hard chines.   Down below the cabin interior is accented in mica cabinets with teak trim and teak and holly sole.  A wide quarter berth extends beneath the bridge deck, galley to port and a V berth forward.  She is presently located on the Branford River ready for her next owner
