Overview

Still in her original Ownership, and with a recent price reduction from £950,000 this 2009 57 by Aquastar combines supreme sea-keeping on a well-balanced, generously-keeled, semi-displacement hull. With two good-sized double cabins and a third twin guest cabin, she can be handled by a couple, yet cruised by a family and friends. Her large flybridge deck has the benefit of the interior access stair, and using the bathing platform for tender stowage both maximizes deck area and reduces weight aloft.

The Aquastar 57’s shape promotes comfortable longer-distance passage – making, with the capacity to carry higher reserves of fuel and general loads, with none of the harder, slamming action of a full-planing hull section. Thus such craft are the choice of the serious, cruising motor-yachter, and allow progress to be made in comfort even when the seas have picked up. To counteract beam roll, KARDAMENA is fitted with zero- speed operating fin stabilization, to keep your lunch put at anchor. She has upgraded ABT hydraulic thrusters for improved handling in close confines, and the windlass has also been upgraded to hydraulic operation to improve ease of setting and weighing.
