The Azimut evolution is one of the most desirable boats on the market. Her owner has spared no expense with an "Open checkbook" policy. This Azimut 62' is fully loaded with a three stateroom layout and separate crew quarters. Makes for a great family cruiser, and the plentiful exterior space with additional seating on the flybridge adds another area perfect for entertaining.
In 2017, COST US cost her current owner nearly $500,000. The reason? Well, the answer starts with new exterior covers, Bimini top, exterior cushions, and bottom paint – but that only tells part of the story. Performing all major engine & running gear servicing, and installing a brand-new, top-of-the-line 28kW Kohler generator fills in the rest of it. COST US looks terrific, and, with her 1,000 horsepower-a-piece CAT C-18s, she runs even better. She has a three stateroom layout plus crew quarters – making COST US both a phenomenal family cruiser as well a terrific charter yacht (if that's of interest to you). In all fairness, though, her next owner will need to change this boat’s name to “COST THEM” – because relative to what you’ll be buying her for, the “heavy lifting” has already been done by her current owner.
Notable Features and upgrades:
1. All exterior soft goods are new, made out of White Sunbrella fabric (Cushions, Bimini Top, Covers) 2017
2. New Carpet and runners throughout the whole boat. 2017
3. Navigation Equipment has been updated to Garmin. 2017
4. New condensing units and raw water pump for A/C system. 2017
5. All lighting was converted from Halogen to LED. 2017
6. Brand new Kohler 23kW generator. 2017
Cost us is the true definition of turn-key. No other 2007 62' Azimut in the world has gone through the updates and upgrades that this vessel has. She is easy-to-view and ready-to-be-seen in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
The interior of "Cost US" is warm & inviting, while still exhibiting the Italian stylishness for which Azimuts are well-known; her full-beam master stateroom, not to mention her two additional over-sized guest cabins, will leave you convinced that, this listing aside, the yacht must be at least seventy feet. Combine this with her more-than-ample exterior spaces - her flybridge alone comfortably seats eight guests - and it is easy to see why Azimut 62's are rarely on the market for long.
Designing for maximum luminosity was one of the primary goals for the designers of the Azimut "Evolution" - and "Cost Us" unquestionably delivers on this front. Broad windows, skillfully integrated into the hull's design, allow light to illuminate all the three staterooms below deck. The spacious, well-appointed interior layout is far superior to any yacht in its class. As you walk through the Salon, you will find spacious seating for the whole family!
The galley is masterfully integrated into the dining area, giving "Cost Us" yet another area for entertaining. Continuing forward, you will pass by the lower helm station before walking down the private staircase to the guest quarters. Midship you will find independent access to the Master stateroom, allowing for maximum space and a private suite. On the port side, there is a day head for everyone's convenience; adjacent to the day head is a twin guest room with side-by-side berths. The spacious forward VIP has an ensuite bath and a walk-in closet, providing for more than ample storage.
Every last detail was designed for the owner's comfort, from the wide open sunbathing area to the dining area and not to mention the spacious helm console. Aft of the spacious entertaining area is ample room for a tender or wave runner. Another prime example why this vessel is in a league of its own.
