Overview
Ajao is a two owner vessel that has been kept in excellent condition and upgraded through out her life.
Her four guest stateroom layout all with ensuite heads is rare in this size of vessel. She is a wonderful family boat with great space for lots of friends.
Description
Ajao is in outstanding condition. Her first owner put less than 1000 hours on her in over 10 years and the 2nd and present owner has taken outstanding care of her. She has an excellent layout and has good range at 10 knots and a top speed of over 20 knots.
She shows like a much later model vessel, and has excellent outdoor areas and a large swim platform. She is a great coastal cruising boat for a family. Ajao was chartered for one season in the Med and can be put back into charter class. A great value in a pedigree yacht, she can entertain large groups with ease and comfort.
Accommodations & Layout
Ajao's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins, 1 double cabin and 3 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Motor yacht Ajao is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother, more enjoyable cruising experience underway.
On the Main Deck there is a large lounge/dining area forward in the wheelhouse and a comfortable main saloon aft. There is a large galley with excellent counter space and storage located between the wheelhouse area and the main saloon. It has direct access to the deck, a large window and is bright and airy. The aft deck is large, covered in teak and has a dining table for 8 plus a refrigerator. The side decks and bow have new teak since April 2016. On the bow is lounge seating and a large sun pad. The anchor handling gear has been serviced and the port anchor chain is new. There is an over-sized swim platform.
The large flybridge is reachable by a ladder off the aft deck. There is a dining area amidships and two large seating zones forward of that with a comfortable helm centerline. Aft of the seating area is the boat deck and toy storage area.
There are 3 guest cabins aft reached by a central stair. Forward is the full beam master with king bed, and large head with his and her sinks. There is extensive hanging locker space plus a chest of drawers.
Aft of the master are matching twin guest cabins each with ensuite heads. These cabins are generous in size.
There is a 3rd twin guest cabin reached via the forward stairs off the bridge lounge area. It is a good size cabin with ensuite head. Forward of this cabin is the crew cabin with head for up to 3 crew.
Engine & Mechanical
Powered by 2 MAN (D2848LXE) 800hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers, motor yacht Ajao is capable of a top speed of 23 knots and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 12,000 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,100 nautical miles at 15 knots, 2000 nm at 12 knots. Her water tanks store around 2,000 litres of fresh water.
