The Brand New Gran Turismo 50 will make its American Debut at the 2018 Miami Boat Show Feb 15-19

 The Gran Turismo 50 has quickly shaken up the world of sport cruisers. It's the largest model of the range offering a planning hull, Volvo IPS 600 engine power and built-in retractable sun visor in the hardtop. The cockpit continues in the sporty and elegant form with a  protected lounge on the full-space main deck. This fully flush layout seamlessly connects the interior with the exterior, creating the perfect flow for entertaining, which is unique to the Gran Turismo 50.

Air Step 2

The Air Step 2 is an evolution and an improvement on the first generation, based on customer experience and Beneteau's in-house research and development. 

The basic principle remains the same: a V step with lateral chines for perfect grip when turning. 

The step creates an "air cushion" under the hull which reduces drag thus providing better performance and a significant cushioning during passage through choppy waters. 

 

The Air Step 2 in Figures:

  • 3 x more air under the underwater portion of the hull thanks to the air inlets placed directly under the hull
  • 1.5 knots fast than the GT 44 (same load)
  • 1,500 lbs more aboard and still the same performance. This means more equipment and more comfort for the same performance. 
  • IPS Compatibility has been endorsed with more than 300 hours of testing in all weather and sea conditions
