Main characteristics

• 220 VAC mono-phase, 60Hz for circuits, switches, TV and Hi-Fi
• 24 V DC for lights and navigation systems

The main electrical switchboard is located in the lazarette at which refers all the IN sources and OUT supplies to the yacht needs.

It is physically constructed in two sections, the first one contains the 220 V AC 1-phase distribution, the second one contains the 24 V DC distribution. From the two sections, through thermo magnetic switches, all the 220 V AC and 24 V DC needs on board shall be supplied. A complete command control system is located in the wheelhouse.

The galley is equipped with a sub electrical switchboard that, through thermo magnetic switches, ensures the distribution to all appliances.

All the devices are connected through copper strings to the ground.

Alternative Current energy sources

Generator

• 2 KOHLER 28Kw, 60Hz 220 V 1-phase generators located in the engine room, equipped with soundproof boxes, control panels and hour counters.
• The batteries are charged by a dedicated 12V-25A battery charger. Generators’ batteries can be operated in parallel.

Ground outlets

• 2 x 50 A, 220 V 1-phase, 60Hz ground outlets, the port side outlet supplies all the yacht while the starboard one supplies the air conditioning system.

Inverter

When the 220 V AC is not available, the 1500 W MASTERVOLT inverter (connected to the service batteries) supplies power
