The flybridge is large and comfortable with wrap around stainless steel rails and a stylish tended venturi. The bridge control station is fully instrumented and offers good visibility from the twin helm seats or the comfortable forward lounge seat. The classic deck design provides a big, usable cockpit with a transom door and swim platform. A generous accommodation plan allows three couples to be berthed in privacy with an inviting galley to feed them all. Light hardwood cabinet details and tasteful fabrics with light bulkheads and overheads help create a bright, airy atmosphere throughout the Islander 34. The custom electronics and stereo console is stylish and functional. The unique raised dinette offers a commanding view of the harbor and is a convenient to the step down galley to starboard. The well equipped galley has refrigeration, a microwave oven, coffee maker and a two-burner range. The custom-molded counter tops are attractive and easy to clean. The cutaway bulkhead aft provides visibility and ventilation to the galley. The forward stateroom has opening ports and an overhead hatch for light and ventilation. There is a luxurious island bed, ample drawers and lockers, with a private entrance to the head. A stall shower, good ventilation and lots of usable storage highlight this exceptional head. The midship stateroom is well appointed and comfortable for two. With a large double berth, dressing vanity, and hanging locker. The engine compartment is designed for easy access to engines. The molded fiberglass engine mounts and compartment liner control sound and organize onboard systems. Molded fiberglass pans under the engine prevent accidental discharge of oil to protect our environment. The Islanders primary aim as a family cruiser is little compromised by the seakindly deep-V so key to offshore operation. The twin Cummins diesel selections deliver the quiet power and performance characteristics correct for each yachtsman's requirements. The Islander 34 meets or exceeds all USCG standards in effect on the date of certification. |

The enclosed head is to starboard with a sink vanity, shower stall, and Vacuflush toilet.
