Regardless of the competition, anyone who is looking in the 80-90’ late model class cannot look past the "Gigi". We found this yacht while thoroughly searching the comparable priced 80 Hatteras, 85 Pacific Mariner, Ocean Alexander and European builds earlier in 2017 and my client bought her on the spot as his entry yacht for the summer season. This yacht outshined them all with a great layout boasting 4-large staterooms; two VIP’s, a tremendous Bridge for entertaining, wide-beam and generous walk-around decks. This owner, as planned wanted to use the yacht for the summer to see if he and his family wanted to venture into yachting, and has now decided to offer her for sale and go over 100'.
Just a few points that make "Gigi" a superior choice:
Under the care of a top notch captain who has been aboard since initial new delivery
Caterpillar 1900 hp ACERT's with platinum warranty until March 2019
Naiad Zero Speed Stabilization Control System
Enclosed air conditioned hardtop
Yacht Controller Remote Docking System
HD Satellite TV and Wi-Fi
I am convinced that any serious prospect that performs a thorough inspection and sea trial of "Gigi" will come to the same conclusion we did when we bought her.
Boarding "Gigi" can be accomplished from either side via side boarding gates to the Aft Deck, or from the Swim Platform. The Aft Deck features a full-bar with a refrigerator/freezer drawer unit, a sink, TV, and cabinet storage. This area has a large Teak table with two loose chairs forward, and a transom seat aft. All exterior seating aboard have protective covers. The Aft Deck, stairs to the Swim Platform, and walk-around decks have a Teak sole. The Foredeck features a large built-in sun pad, bow Sunsail sunshade mounted on stainless steel stanchions with forward facing seating and a cocktail table. The walk-around decks have full stainless steel railings as well as stainless steel gates atop the staircases leading down to the Swim Platform.
Down the staircases to port or starboard is the Swim Platform which is protected by staple rails across the transom. The two shore power cable master inlets are located both to port and starboard, the phone connection, water inlets, and transom shower/fresh water spigot are accessed via hatch doors beneath the shore power connections. Starboard of the transom door is a boson’s locker.
Entrance to the crew and engine room is centerline through a large transom door. Down a few steps into the crew is the crew mess. This area has a settee with dining table to port, a storage cabinet to starboard, a TV, a stacked laundry unit; Maretron onboard systems monitor, sink, microwave, refrigerator and additional storage. There is an access ladder to the Aft Deck from this area. The Captain's cabin is to starboard, with a double berth, TV and hanging drawer storage beneath the berth. To port is the second crew stateroom with over-under berths, TV, hanging locker and drawer storage. These two staterooms share a head with lighted vanity, sink, shower and toilet.
The Engine Room is accessed forward through a water tight bulkhead door.
Access to the Flybridge is from either the Aft Deck staircase, or forward between the Salon and Galley/ Pilothouse. The Flybridge is massive with Teak over the entire deck sole. From the Aft Deck the Boat Deck has a 1700 lb. Nautical Structures Davit, a hot tub centerline, stainless steel railing, and support stanchions for the Sunsail sunshade which can be deployed easily over the Boat Deck. Forward is the air conditioned Flybridge with full fiberglass hardtop and Polycarbonate enclosure. To port is a full-sized stainless steel gas grill. There is a large bar to starboard with three stainless steel based seats, a Style Stone type granite style counter bar top, sink, drawer refrigeration, ice maker, and storage. To port is a large L-shaped settee with storage underneath and full-length teak table. There is a storage cabinet to starboard located directly behind the forward staircase down to the yacht's interior.
The upper Helm features three Stidd helm chairs, excellent visibility, and a well laid-out upper station with large screens, engine data and full controls.
The forward Flybridge entrance to the salon is through a large stainless framed sliding door. There is also a large stainless sliding door for Aft Deck entry.
The Salon has the benefit of large windows, a wide center walk through, and plenty of seating built-in both to port and starboard with storage underneath. There is a large pop-up TV to port with a cabinet beneath. The Salon and Galley are soled in a veneered rose wood, with inserted carpeting in the seating and formal dining table areas. The entire yacht is finished in rich high-gloss finished woods, and lighted with LED fixtures.BOW
