36' Chris Craft Commander Overview & Walkthrough

This classic 1973 Chris Craft Commander Sport Fish is in excellent condition and is ready to cruise. A very spacious salon with an open floor plan combines the lower helm amidship to starboard, dining or sitting area aft starboard and galley with significant storage along the port side. The head with separate shower stall is forward of the lower helm, the guest room with two single bunks is across the passageway to port and then the v-berth forward with two single bunks and plenty of storage. The Large foredeck and cockpit provide additional open space for seating, fishing or sunbathing and the comfortable flybridge tops her off.

36' Chris Craft Commander Accomodations

This vessel has two bunk rooms, one forward in the v-berth and the second just aft of the v-berth on the port side.

The v-berth bunks are over under along the flare of the bow. The v-berth has a fishing pole rod holder over each bunk with the ability to store two rods in each. There are portlights on both port and starboard sides and a hatch in the overhead. There are two drawers and a small cabinet under the starboard bunk and a large cedar lined hanging locker aft of the starboard bunk. More storage is available in a cabinet with sliding doors under the port bunk. Climate controls are located inside the starboard bulkhead of the space.

The second bunk room has storage drawers under the lower bunk, another large cedar lined hanging locker, a small cabinet and a single portlight. Climate controls are on the aft bulkhead of this bunk room.

The head is starboard across from the second bunk room and features an marine head, large vanity and sink and a separate shower stall with a bench seat. The head also has a single portlight and a good amount of storage.

36' Chris Craft Commander Salon

The spacious salon is surrounded by large tinted side and aft windows which provide a great view and plenty of natural light. The headliner and carpet are in excellent condition and the cabinets are custom made. The floorplan is completely open which increases the open feel of this large space.

Access to the very large lazarette is centered along the transom wall as well as access hatches to the two Cruiseair air conditioner units and a third hatch for access to the top of the fuel tanks. Access to the foredeck is by walkways on both sides and a ladder to port to the flybridge. Four cockpit speakers help to set the mood while enjoying the cockpit. A water washdown spigot is located in the gunwale aft to port.

The modest and comfortable flybrige has seating for several people as well and a good amount of storage, including a fold out chart storage cabinet.
