Broker's Comments

The FPB 64 is true magic carpet material, capable of serious voyaging to all corners of our globe, in a seamanlike and comfortable fashion.  Huge range means that her skipper has the luxury of planning for serious cruising without the requirement for frequent pitstops.   IRON LADY and her sisters have proved their world cruising credentials and continue to do so.  It is very rare for an FPB (Functional Power Boat) to be offered on the brokerage market so we are delighted to be handling her sale.

Note: Yacht is not for sale while in Canadian waters.

Construction

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

·         Basic hull and structure Is welded aluminum including superstructure with two full water tight bulkheads and two half height water tight bulkheads.

·         Bottom is 12 mm aluminum plate.

·         Integral aluminum tankage for water and diesel form a double bottom between the two full height water tight bulkheads.

·         19 mm tempered windows, full set of storm boards.

·         Matching grey tread master decking on exterior decks.

·         External handrails, stanchions and foremast, et al are 316 L stainless steel.

·         The ‘bolt on’ swim step extension section adds 3’/90cm to the waterline length and reduces drag six to eight percent. It also creates valuable space for loading/unloading passengers and stores from the dinghy, exiting to floating docks, and easy access off the stern for swimming.  Finally, this extra waterline increases longitudinal stiffness which reduces pitching.  And the measured length of the hull? We will just say that the bolt on nature of the extension offers a degree of flexibility with “official” measurements not available with a welded extension.
