Overview

Designed to turn heads and be the talk of talk of every harbor and Yacht Club, Grande Dad is styled to be reminiscent of a classic Royal Dutch Navy Admiral's Launch, She would more likely be enjoyed as a "cocktail cruiser" or a gentlemen's motor launch with eye-catching curvy lines and a wineglass finish. Professionally constructed in 2005 in fiberglass to modern standards, she spent most of her life in storage with little use. The current owner has made many recent upgrades to suit the Downeast coastal lifestyle and she is a pleasure to own and operate.

With a lobster boat style wheelhouse she features Awlgripped dark hull, new bottom paint and BEAUTIFUL just refinished teak coaming boards, whale strake boards, decking and cabinetry and accents, 2017, new electronics 2014, a newer top-of-the-line head,  economical diesel power - only 115 hours, electric windlass, a modified prop protecting keel, and generous, comfortable U shaped cushioned cockpit seating for guests.

Grande Dad is a great day boat that can be used for occasional overnights. Have the most beautiful Downeaster in your club.

Vessel Walk Through

In general Grande Dad was designed as a great day boat that can be used for occasional overnights.

Entering the large cockpit area you find a u-shaped seating for eight on teak built bench seats with soft vinyl cushions in white. All seating or sleeping areas feature soft white vinyl cushions. Storage is built into the seating platform.

Aft is the boarding platform with brass support/handrails for convenience in getting in and out of dinghies and loading and unloading of supplies.

The entire deck area from bow to stern is craftsman grade teak and you can be walked around the entire deck without stepping into the cockpit area. There is a substantial teak rub rail both attractive and functional for motor launch work.

Moving forward is the Pilothouse with full teak detailing, steering, instrumentation and electronics.

Through the cabin doors is a vee berth with storage below and the electric head compartment on starboard. All of the cabin areas are finished in teak wood with brass hardware and white seat cushions. There is also a storage/hanging locker, wrap around side shelving with LED ambient courtesy lighting, teak removable table and teak & holly sole.
