Exterior teak decking is 1" thick and is in excellent condition!
The entire deck was recalked with Teak Decking Systems Calkin 2017. At that time the deck was refastened with 2" bronze Fearson headed screws set in epoxy and all the deck bungs were replaced at the same time and set with epoxy.

Vessel Walk Through
Dark Star has a private V-berth forward which will comfortably sleep 2. The V-berth has a privacy door.
Moving aft the head is to port (also with a door). The marine toilet was rebuilt in 2017. There are storage lockers to starboard across from the head
Further aft is the main cabin with a settee to starboard which can be used for a sea berth while underway or as a guest berth There is a small dinette seating 2 people facing fore and aft to port across from the settee. The table has a full size pullout leaf to enable seating on the settee berth so that four can dine in comfort.
The galley is aft of the dinette to starboard at the companionway. The galley features a microwave oven, a pressurized kerosene 2 burner stove with an oven. There is a one gallon stainless steel fuel tank feeding the stove under the sink.
There is an icebox with Norcold refrigeration and a double sink with a custom teak drain board and custom fitted cutting board. The dishwasher has a choice of using a hand pump or electric pump for delivering fresh water to the sink.
There is a 7'6" quarter berth with a hanging locker aft to port.
