Description

Tres Bien is the popular "Plan B" layout with the stairs directly to the master stateroom and an engine room door from the master stateroom. The 49' DeFever is a 2 stateroom, 2 head layout with a raised pilothouse that has internal stairs to the flybridge and a covered aft deck. All interior areas have at least two entrance/exit points, for added safety. The high, solid sides are another safety feature. Her naturally aspirated Lehman main engines are fuel efficient and her engine room is clean and very accessible. There is plenty of storage room on this boat.

Walkthrough

Entering the salon through the double aft doors from the covered aft deck, you will find a lounge chair, table and entertainment cabinet to starboard, sofa and table to port, galley port forward and the refrigerator/freezer and side deck access door starboard forward. There are stairs to the pilothouse and stairs to the master stateroom forward. Once in the pilothouse, you can step out either side deck access door or step down the forward guest stairs to the staterooms. Engine room access is through the master stateroom door or the lazarette aft.

Accommodations

Tres Bien offers a master stateroom amidships with a queen size berth and ensuite head and a guest stateroom forward with offset single berths. The guest head is located to port off the guest foyer and just aft of the guest stateroom. The pilothouse has a day berth and the settee and table convert to a berth.

Salon

The salon offers a sofa and table to port, galley port forward, lounge chair, table and entertainment cabinet to starboard and refrigerator/freezer and stairs up to the pilothouse and down to the master stateroom starboard forward next to the starboard side deck access door. There are double teak/glass doors aft. The windows are equipped with Hunter Douglas single cell, top-down,bottom-up blinds (2014).

Master Stateroom

The amidships master stateroom offers a queen size berth, reading lights, ventilation fan, teak & holly sole, storage cabinets and drawers, hanging lockers, vanity area, 2 portlights, ensuite head with shower/tub.

Guest Stateroom

The guest stateroom is located forward and offers offset single berths, storage drawers and cupboard, hanginglocker, overhead deck hatch and 4 portlights for plenty of natural light and ventilation, anchor locker access, teak & holly sole, reading lights and fan for ventilation. The guest head is located to port in the foyer, just aft of the guest stateroom. There is also a hanging locker in the foyer.

Pilothouse

The pilothouse offers a full console with chart drawers and storage forward, side deck access doors on each side, a settee/berth with adjustable table and day berth/storage above on the port side, steps up to the flybridge and down to the salon starboard aft, and steps to the staterooms starboard forward.

Aft Deck

The aft deck is on the same level as the salon and side decks, which allows easy access andline/fender handling. There is a transom door to the swim platform and the aft deck is fully covered by the flybridge overhead. There is a deck hatch to the lazarette and engine room, double teak/glass doors to the salon and built-in seating and storage on both sides aft.

Fly Bridge

The flybridge offers a full console forward with plenty of electronics and storage underneath, bench seats port and starboard, helm seat, hinged mast, non-skid deck and bimini top.
