You can define the Everglades 355T in many ways. It’s a fishing machine loaded with features. It rides on a 35-foot hull, built tough to run fast in big seas. And finally, it displays a fit and finish that are second to none.
Powered by triple Mercury 300hp four-strokes, she delivers a silky smooth ride in significant chop. A 411-gallon aluminum fuel tank provides plenty of fishing range.
The layout features diamond-nonskid decks fore and aft. Along the inwales there’s lockable storage for rods and tackle. A dozen flush-mount rod holders punctuate the gunwale tops.
The 355T doesn’t scrimp on comfort. Coaming pads encircle the interior. Three seats are built into the front of the console; the middle backrest folds down to create armrests and drink holders. Inside the big center-console, a teak-trimmed head features a china-bowl toilet, a cedar-lined cabinet with a Corian countertop and a vessel sink.
That helm affords excellent weather protection with a tempered-glass, three-pane windshield. The forward panel slides down to usher in fresh air. The helm accommodates a pair of 15.5-inch Garmin displays. Integrated into the console is a hardtop with seven rod holders across the back, and an angled rod holder on each side is standard. Also up top is a fully rigged tower station with flip down bolster seats.
A rigging station abaft the helm seats includes storage for pliers and knives, as well as spools of leader material. It also has a molded-in sink, a freshwater faucet, twin tackle cabinets and a fold-out, aft-facing seat.
A beefy utility door on the port side allows crew to easily board and carry supplies between the dock and the aft cockpit. It also makes it easier to haul aboard a big fish or go diving. Twin 39-gallon insulated freezer boxes flank the 355T’s 38-gallon transom livewell. In the forward deck is an additional 120 gallons of insulated-fish-box capacity.
All-composite construction with high-density, closed-cell, structural foam flotation renders the boat virtually unsinkable. The laminate schedule includes knitted bi-axial fiberglass with vinylester barrier and skin coats, a polyester print barrier and premium gelcoat throughout. Finally, the hull liner and deck are mated to form a rigid and rugged one-piece structure.
