The Explorer Motor Yachts 46 Pilothouse is the most compact of our exciting new pilot house range and draws on our vast experience gained over many years of producing trawler yachts of this size. 

Incorporating features usually only found on much larger vessels, the 46 Pilot House provides a dedicated wheelhouse interior while retaining a spacious and comfortable single level galley and saloon and truly luxurious cabin accommodations for extended cruising.

At a time when moorings are at a premium and running costs form an increasingly important part of the purchaser's decision making process, the Explorer Motor Yachts 46 Pilot House offers an economically sound solution to modern cruising needs.

The favored "two owners" cabin layout features a midship master en-suite cabin with athwart-ships queen berth and a VIP cabin forward with island queen berth which is served by its own combined head and shower compartment.

A truly modern classic that incorporates the style and seaworthiness of a proven design, the Explorer 46 Pilot House features walk-around decks, a large cockpit, elegant interior timber finishes and very comfortable two-cabin accommodation.

The raised pilot house provides both security and panoramic vision for skipper and crew while the saloon and galley offer luxury and comfort once you are safely anchored in a secluded bay.

She builds on the heritage of the Explorer 50 Pilot House and, while shorter by a few feet, she retains almost the same beam as her bigger sister – a mere one inch narrower, ensuring a large volume interior.

Powered by single or twin Cummins diesels, this vessel offers cruising comfort ranging from a leisurely displacement speed to a more sprightly 18 to 20 knots.
