Overview

The 1989 Hatteras 78 Extended Cockpit Motor Yacht, Bella Sophia, offers the beauty and rugged build quality of a classic Hatteras. Bella Sophia is a 4 stateroom boat with Detroit Diesel 12V92's that was hauled out in July 2015 and had the bottom painted with propspeed, new rudder bearings installed, and a new watermaker pump.


Bella Sophia sleeps 8 owners and guests in 4 staterooms. Master Aft Cabin S/R features king berth, walk in locker storage, lacquered cabinetry with custom wall coverings and vaulted ceilings.

Overview

Upon entering Bella Sophia, the starboard side of the salon has a L-Shaped beige leather sofa with a wood coffee table.  To the port there is a built in entertainment center with granite countertops, housing a 42" built in Vizio Flatscreen TV, DVD player, Direct TV, and a Clarion CD/AM/FM stereo tuner with surround sound.  The salon also features a beveled glass dining table with 6 white leather chairs with custom overhead lighting.  Just forward of the Dining table there is a banquet station with granite countertops.  Private access to aft cabin master suite via salon. 

 

Galley

 
 Forward of the salon is the fully equipped galley with a dinette to starboard for informal dining.   The galley has custom granite countertops with ample cabinets and drawers for storage.  Updated GE refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher.

Wheelhouse

 The wheelhouse is forward of the galley.  Port and starboard sliding doors access the side decks and entry gates.  There is a double wide cushioned seat with chart storage drawers below flacked by a storage locker on the port side.  The helm console is centerline offering the helmsman excellent visibility and access to all navigation equipment.  A stainless steel ladder on the starboard side of the wheelhouse leads up to the flybridge.  A curved stairwell forward on the starboard side of the wheelhouse leads down to the guest staterooms.
