The PROBABILITY represents by far the most highly customized Open Bridge 80’ Hatteras ever to be on the market.  Purchased by her current owner in 2017, she was the nicest low hour 80’ Hatteras with the CAT C32 Acert factory upgrade ($325,000) to 1,925 HP engines.  She was then stripped down to a bare shell to receive her $1,800,000 worth of upgrades in order to turn her into the pristine vessel she is today.

All systems were redone and most appliances replaced with top of the line options and all pumps, small motors and components are new in 2018!  Everything except the main engines, generators and built-ins like the davit and transmissions were replaced with new equipment in 2018.

Upgrades and refits completed between 2017-2018 include complete new paint, all new canvas, all surfaces recovered, and everything replaced beyond what any reasonable, dollar-conscious individual would do.  The refit project manager left no element to chance as he ensured that the refit encompassed 100% of the vessel and her systems.  All soft goods on the vessel were removed and replaced, to include all new headliners, draperies, carpeting, padding, flooring, furniture, linens, custom shams and mattresses.  The engine room was also given a complete mechanical inspection and servicing during the refit.  Also, while the Whisper Wall headliners were being replaced, all wiring & lighting behind the headliners were replaced with Cat 5 Wiring and new warm LED's throughout the vessel.

Hatteras is known for their attention to detail, and wiring is one of their strongest points. All wiring is tin-coated and sealed in an insulation jacket. Wiring harnesses are tie-wrapped every 6" and secured every 18" with easy access. Wiring is color-coded and numbered at both terminal ends, and is well documented in the owner's manual. Go one step further to find their attention to detail in placement of dual light switches on both ends of the salon and companionway for convenience.
