VESSEL WALKTHROUGH

Depending on the docking situation BEST DAY can be boarded two ways……by the stern swim platform or by the midships boarding ladder on a fixed dock.  We start our walkthrough boarding amidships.  Entrance doors on both the port and starboard sides lead into the pilot house.  The weather protected pilot house has a large bench seat for underway Captain, guest or crew visibility.  She offers a full complement of updated navigation electronics including:

Facing forward on the starboard side of the pilot house is a stairwell that leads below to the forward lower accommodations.  Facing aft there is a stairwell to the flybridge and a passage way to the galley and salon.

 Taking the stairs forward to the lower accommodations leads us to a small foyer.  There is a full size stand up washer and dryer at the base of the stairs. To port we find the forward guest bunk room.  A few steps down and towards the bow is the forward VIP stateroom.  Each of these staterooms have corresponding heads with private access.  Aft of the foyer there are a couple steps down into the mid ship multi berth stateroom and private head.  This 4 berth mid ship state room is versatile and has aft bulkhead door into the engine room.

Returning back up to the main level we can walk aft from the pilot house into the galley and salon area.  It is nice that there are no step ups or step downs and the entire main level is flush deck. Immediately to starboard we have a large U shaped leather dinette with a Corian table.  Directly across from the dinette is the open concept galley.  The aft bulkhead is open for clean sightlines into salon, pass through serving and a connected salon breakfast bar.  The galley has everything a shipboard gourmet would need including:

Continuing aft of the galley and dinette is the full beam main salon.  The 18’2” beam and large windows really help give BEST DAY an open airy feel.  Her salon décor is simple and tasteful.  There is a stairway leading down to the aft accommodations to starboard. Aft of that is a large leather L shaped sofa and oversized ottoman.  The carpet was new in 2015 and is beige with a white trim decorative pattern.  Port side corner aft is a large dark wood cabinet housing a pop up flat screen TV.  Port side in the salon there is a small table and nautical lamp sandwiched in between a kids fish pattern chair and a grown up lounge chair.  Other features include:
