Intro

WIRELESS will be displayed from March 28th through March 31st in the water at the Palm Beach Boat Show.  Sincere seller is attentive to offers.

New to the Florida market, WIRELESS is a spotless clean 37' Picnic Boat with under 450 hours on the upgrade engine package, 435hp Volvo common-rail diesels, which offer the possibility of a 30+ knot cruising speed.  Shallow draft operation ideal thanks to Hamilton water-jets, with easy dockside maneuvering when controlled by the Hinckley Jet Stick II.  This particular vessel was ordered by the original owner with most options and has been pampered throughout her life spending half years stored inside - carefully trailered north and south annually.  Some of her options include, a full varnished teak package and teak decks, Helm deck climate control (2 units, 20k Btu), KVH Tracvision SAT TV antenna dome, Release Marine teak table (removable with two location options), Stainless one-piece bow railing, WiFi Boost Antenna & wireless hotspot, Stidd helm and companion chairs, centerline Double Berth with extra interior lighting on dimmer switches and many more smaller details.

If you are thinking about an iconic Hinckley picnic boat, WIRELESS is lightly used model which deserves your consideration.  As she sits today a thorough systems survey was completed this past Fall while indoor stored and she was transported to Florida where there has been minimal use.  Fully serviced and ready to benefit her next potential owner.

Manufacturer Provided Description

Hinckley invented an entirely new class of boat with the introduction of the original Picnic Boat over 15 years ago. Nearly 450 hulls later, they remain committed to constantly improving this model with every boat built. Today they offer the most advanced iteration yet, the Picnic Boat MKIII, which has been the most successful product introduction in our more than eight decades.

Broker edit:  This is Hull #83 of the Talaria 37' Mark III model Picnic Boat offered by her original owner.  The upgraded Volvo motors offer a huge boost in performance over the standard Yanmar engine package.  These engines have common-rail fuel delivery electronically controlled, which translates to smoke-free, quiet, and dependable usage.  The twin Hamilton 274 water jets in combination with the bow thruster are coordinated through the patented Hinckley Jet Stick II which has several user friendly options including heading hold enabled through an integrated compass.  All owners manuals (very well written), operation manual, and systems manufacturers manuals are intact and will convey to the next owner.

Walk-through Narrative

A style feature immediately notable at the rear of the vessel is the curvaceous tumblehome at the transom and how the integral swim platform melds into the hull lines.  Boarding aft on the swim platform the custom touches begin with teak wood inserts in lieu of the standard non-skid.  To the starboard side is a hinged opening,one-piece, transom door with positive spring latch keeper.  Stepping into the teak cockpit there is a full rear settee to the portside.  The exterior cushions are covered in an attractive Ralph Lauren Dune Point stripe riviera pattern of Blues and Creme in Sunbrella fabric.  The cockpit interior side coaming panels are perfectly varnished teak with the cap railings sweeping up to the deckhouse hardtop on either side (true artwork).  To either side of centerline are rear facing settees at the aft edge of the deckhouse.  Crème colored gelcoat finished fiberglass molds the bench seating and service consoles accented by the finely varnished teak throughout.  In the natural finish teak sole by the portside aft settee is a receiver for the Release Marine teak picnic table.

Moving forward into the deckhouse the full teak package is gorgeous with side panels and the helm area all varnished to perfection.  Aft are teak topped service amenity consoles with a refrigerator beneath the starboard side behind the teak louvered door and beneath the top of the portside is a 8" deep insulated/drained cooler box.  Outboard to either side are two flush mounted stainless drink holders.  Forward of these consoles are two curved back, center-facing lounges covered in the matching Ralph Lauren stripe Sunbrella material.  There are notable storage area beneath all of these lounge seats.  This deckhouse area has slide-opening, tinted, side windows or there are twin Dometic 10,000 BTU air-conditioning units to provide cooling or reverse-cycle heating if needed.  At the forward end of the settees there are flip up brackets that can extend the length of these lounges to allow use as occasional berths when desired (extra cushions are stored in Custom Stamoid bags).  On the natural finished teak sole towards the starboard side is a mount base for the Release Teak table.  Also located by the aft end of the starboard settee is an outdoor 110v plug and two composite video jacks wired to a Direct TV receiver (or other video source), allowing the ability to connect a TV screen to set on top of the amenity console.

Ahead of the pilothouse lounges are two Stidd Helm Seats, manual adjustment with LuxorLeather soft-touch plus Vellum cushions, fold-down foot/arm rests and matching powder coated framework and pedestal mountings (very comfortable).  Their backrests have storage bag compartments on the rear.  Overhead the cabin top has two opening, tinted skylight hatches and a safety grab/sea-rail in varnished teak down the center.  The over head also has flush mounted LED lighting and teak trim batons across the perforated, padded headliner.  Outboard either side of the Stidd chairs are side consoles with fold open top glove boxes and additional flush stainless drink holders.  The back edge of either console has 12v lighter plugs and USB power ports.  The forward upper corners of the pilothouse have two removable/adjustable 12v Hella fans.  Just ahead of the portside chair is an extra teak single bay handrail.  All the deckhouse windows have snap-in Ivory Stamoid covers for privacy, temperature control, or storage.  There is also a Ivory Stamoid aft drop curtain.  With all these covers up, the pilothouse can comfortably sleep 2 with privacy and temperature control.  Outboard of the port chair is the main electrical breaker and switching panel.  Also just aft of the panel is another exterior 110v plug.
The helm is artfully finished in varnished teak with a six-spoke stainless and teak helm wheel and the console raised with a 16" Hybrid-Touch Raymarine E165 multifunction display surrounded by Volvo chrome bezel electric gauge clusters for each engine.  To the right is the dual handle throttle/clutch binnacle and the Jet Stick II, joystick jet controller.  Atop this console is a magnetic compass and forward the pilothouse windows with windshield wiper/washers.

Entering the cabin through the 2-part teak hatch with lower louvered door that swings to the right and the upper hatch that slides back, then you take 2 steps down to the cabin sole.  The cabin interior is tastefully done in satin finished Cherrywood with bullnose Vanilla Corian countertop in the galley area.  There is a island berth centerline forward surrounded by hull sheathing in cherry batons.  A Dometic 10,000 BTU air-conditioning system is in the cabin with digital thermostat.  The bulkheads, cabinets, and drawers are solid cherry plus there is open shelving with removable railing around the upper hull sheathing area.  The cabin sole is teak and holly with a bound edge tan canvas runner cover to protect it.  The starboard side aft facing bulkhead has a wall mounted Samsung 24" Smart LED TV.  Outboard of the TV is a cedar lined hanging locker with louvered door.  Across on the portside is a small curved dressing settee covered in Ralph Lauren Boat Meadow Stripe Sunbrella (tan, red/white, with blue accent).  Above is a cabinet with shelves and a wall mounted Fusion Stereo base unit and a Victron Energy remote charger control panel.  The berth bedcover is Blue nautical world print with various décor pillows and anchor/stripe decorated throw.  On the forward bulkhead are two Stainless Frigast cabin wall-mounted halogen reading lights.  Aft from the berth the cabin top is raised (trunk cabin foredeck) and there are fixed oval portlights (2 to port side, 1 to starboard) providing natural light as well as an overhead deck hatch above the berth with Ocean Air Sky screen/shade.  The headliner has optional flush mounted halogen lights which are on a dimmer switch by the berth.  There are also 2 Hella removable fans outboard at the aft corners of the berth area.  The perforated headliner is accented with a teak baton strip and edge trim.  There is also a removable privacy curtain that can be extended from the aft end of the galley to the opposite side of the cabin and secured overhead by turn-button fasteners.

Starboard aft in the cabin is the head entry.  The head features a varnished cherry vanity top with a white porcelain china undermounted oval sink.  The chrome faucet fixture has a removable wand handle and the head sole is fiberglass non-skid finished with pan styled drainage to a sump pump box.  A wall mount for the wand handle is available for use if showering.  There is a length-wise mounted wall mirror and a Dometic freshwater Vacu-flush MSD.  This compartment also has an oval portlight for natural lighting, this one is opening with a screen insert.  There are 2 linen cabinets outboard, another cabinet beneath the sink and another small sundries cabinet, plus two cherry drawers.  The head is air-conditioned has towel bars and Frigast stainless wall lamps.  The head door has an open secure lock latch.

Portside aft cabin is the Galley area with numerous drawers, cabinets and a wine storage rack in addition to the appliances.  A top opening refrigerator compartment with remote compressor is aft with chill plate, adjustable thermostat, and strong hold open brace arm.  Just to the right beneath a hideaway Corian panel is an inset single burner Kenyon electric cooktop followed by another hideaway Corian panel covering the under-mount stainless steel sink with counter-mount Grohe chrome wand faucet.  A stainless steel faced microwave oven is mounted into the cabinetry aft.  There is an hidden pull out trash receptacle beneath the sink in a cabinet.  Also extra storage beneath the cabin steps.
