Overview

Rare opportunity to purchase this very well built Semi Custom Jarvis Newman 48'.  It is in excellent condition throughout. Good quality design, construction, & power.  "About Time" is a semi custom lobster style single engine cruising boat with a 15' beam.  Fiberglass construction.  She is powered by a 600 HP Lugger with low hours.  Can cruise at 12 knots and burn 9 gallons per hour.  Slow down and get even better range.  Top speed is approximately 18 knots, equipped well with stabilizers, bow thruster, low hour Northern Lights generator and upgraded electronics. She is now availbable to preview at our docks in Seattle.  Don't miss it.

Hull & Exterior Superstructure:
The hull is Molded fiberglass, full balascore with extensive internal bracing and stiffening to allow for smooth transition of power and high speed travel over turbulent seas.

"About Time" is powered by a Lugger 6140 AL211 turbo- charged after-cooled diesel engine, which delivers 600 horsepower throu a Twin Disc 5114 with a 1.74:1 reduction with trolling valve fitted at gear. Engine installed new in 1998 by Newman Marine and shows 1778 hours on meter.
Engine appears in excellent condition, clean and well maintained. 30" x 28" four-blade bronze propeller 2 1/4" stainless steel shaft.  Rudder is mounted on 2 1/4" stainless steel rudderstock and measures 34" x 24" x 3/8".
