Overview

"Du Vent" is a fantastic, large gem of a boat from the world's biggest sailboat builder. This Jeanneau 45.2 is equally comfortable at anchor or on the dock, or offshore sailing. Consider the large sail inventory (with furling Main and a classic main, large genoa and 2 assymetrical spinnakers), the large cockpit and twin helms, not to mention a full array of electronics. 

However, she is also a very comfortable boat to entertain plenty of family and friends. She has three cabins (The master cabin is forward and has it's own head), has very large salon seating for 6-8, and a galley that runs nearly ten feet long with plenty of storage. Finally, her cockpit is another great space, with plenty of seating, teak varnished table, long benches covered with teak and with cushions.

Salon:

  • Layout: The salon is laid out with a large settee to starboard, with cabinetry, and the galley the entire length of the salon to port.
  • Table - Has folding leaves, with small storage drawers running down the leg of the table. 
  • Seating - Surrounding the table, a U-shaped settee with plush navy blue fabric seating combined with a bench seat with back rest. Slips about 8. You can have a grown adult sleep on the settee (Table does not drop down, however).
  • Storage under seating
  • Bar chest in salon corner

Navigation Station:

  • Large Navigation station is located aft of the Salon settee, with opening port. Comfortable and spacious.
  • Large table for charts or laptops, with plenty of accessible storage within reach. Flip-up table, opening cabinet.
  • DC Panel - Manual gauges show volts, charger and alternator and amperage. Toggle switches for Nav Lights, House lights, Aux
  • AC Panel - Manual gauge for voltage, Toggle switches for pumps, electronics, services, etc.
  • Inverter/Charger - Heart Interface Display & control panel. Inverter is located under seating.
  • Chartplotter - Lowrance Elite 7 HDI color Chartplotter.

Galley:

  • Linear Galley is located to port of the settee
  • Great counter space - around 10 foot of counter, terrific for entertaining, spreads.

Aft Head:

  • Located to port, it's entirely molded in fiberglass and 
  • Large head & shower compartment
  • Newly replaced WEMA holding tank sensing system

Engine Room:

  • Access to the58-horsepower Yanmar diesel is good via the companionway steps and from hatches in each aft cabin.

Electrical

  • Batteries - 4 AGM batteries provide outstanding power capacity and no maintenance fuss. 3 House and 1 Starter.
  • Inverter -  Heart Freedom 2000 Watt Inverter provides smooth power
