PANDEMONIUM is a semi-custom hardtop express WhisperJet 38’ constructed to very high standards. Unlike most of her sisterships, she features a private forward stateroom and custom galley arrangement with extra counter space and cabinets opposite the galley in the main salon.
Her dependable Cummins diesels have low hours and have always been well cared for. With a modified deep-vee hull configuration, Little Harbor WhisperJets are smooth, stable and dry in a seaway. Her hull also features the optional “quiet chines” for peace and quiet down below while at anchor. The maneuverability offered by twin waterjets and a bow thruster makes even the most challenging docking endeavor a snap. Most notably, this design enables the yacht to maintain cruising speeds long after "picnic" weather has deteriorated. Specialized noise and vibration suppression systems ensure remarkably quiet operation.
As mentioned above, PANDEMONIUM has some unique features that separate her from her sisterships. Her interior is paneled in beautifully matched American cherry. A solid bulkhead with raised-panel door separates the sleeping cabin from the galley. Because the enclosed bridge deck offers true main salon comfort, the standard galley was enlarged to occupy the entire space aft of the forward cabin.
PANDEMONIUM is ready to go, with jet service just completed and exterior varnish re-done. PANDEMONIUM is elegantly paneled in American cherry veneer with solid cherry styles, rails, doors and drawers. The cabin sole is teak and holly. Copious amounts of light and ventilation are provided via three Lewmar hatches with solar-powered ventilation fans and six Lewmar aluminum portholes. A white upholstered headliner contributes to the bright, open feel below.
Starting forward, the chain locker is followed by a V-berth with storage beneath and shelves and lockers above. Navy blue chenille upholstery compliments the yacht’s traditional good looks. Next aft to port and starboard are bedside counters with lockers above and below. Next aft of a solid bulkhead, the unusually large galley features a Panasonic microwave, 3-burner glass cooktop, Norcold 12v/110v fridge and polished stainless steel sink. Numerous lockers, drawers and shelves provide plenty of storage for extended getaways. Next aft to port, the fully enclosed head features a Corian countertop and a Raritan marine toilet. A large hanging locker is positioned to starboard of the companionway steps leading to the bridgedeck area.
The helm area features a Stidd helm chair (re-covered, 2015) and a commanding 360 degree unobstructed view. The companionway doors, hatch and trim throughout the bridgedeck area are of varnished teak. Sliding windows with screens and centerline opening windshield offer excellent cross ventilation. Teak decks are confined to the enclosed helm area for ease of maintenance. Access to the machinery space is via a central deck hatch in this area or the entire deck (including the built-in furniture) opens hydraulically for unobstructed access to all corners of the machinery space. A large L-shaped settee is located to port with a flawlessly finished teak dining table.
