Overview
This 34 Luhrs convertible
has enjoyed a sheltered life on the Chesapeake Bay. She was used
exclusively in the upper bay for the first 15 years of her life, was
kept on a lift, and is now docked in Virginia Beach. Less than 420
hours on the engines and only 130 on the generator!!! Plus new Garmin
GPS/chartplotter/fishfinders with a $1300 deep water transducer, a new
Garmin 48 mile hd radar, and a new Garmin VHF. She has a new hardtop
instead of the old standard soft top and a new full enclosure with
matching covers for the bridge seats and helm console. 3 new rod
holders, a new EPIRB, carbon dioxide detector, smoke detectors and new
fire extinguishers. She is fully rigged and ready to go! Without
question the cleanest, low hour 34 Luhrs Convertible available.
Power Boat Guide Says...
Introduced in 2000, the Luhrs 34 is an entry-level convertible with a
distinctive top-heavy profile, heavily built, affordably priced, and
versatile enough for fishing and cruising. Few small convertibles have
been built in recent years, and the Luhrs 34 occupied a market niche
without any serious competitors. Constructed on a modified-V hull with
cored hullsides and a solid fiberglass bottom, a wide 13'1" beam makes
the Luhrs 34 a very roomy boat. Molded steps instead of a ladder lead up
to the flybridge, and while the engine room is a tight fit, the cockpit
access is a plus. Standard features include a molded bow pulpit,
transom fish box, molded cockpit stairs, transom door, bait prep center
with sink, livewell, fresh/raw-water washdowns, cockpit bolsters, gunnel
rod holders, cockpit rod storage, transom fish box, swim platform,
generator, and trim tabs. Below, the single-stateroom, galley-up
interior with convertible salon settee (with hinged backrest), full
galley, and divided head sleeps five. Note the rod storage locker in
salon overhead. Optional 370hp Cummins diesels cruise in the low-to-mid
20s.
