OVERVIEW

Twin 420 HP Yanmar Diesels W/Only 885 Hours & Kohler 8 KW Generator W/1450 Hours.  The electronics include Furuno radar/sounder/plotter, Garmin  5212 Touchscreen plotter, Robertson AP22 autopilot, ICOM VHF w/distress.

Fishing equipment includes double spreader outriggers, hugh cockpit, livewell, freezer, In-deck fish boxes, Bait prep station w/sink, cockpit table/rod holders, rocket launchers.  All you will need are rods and reels to bring in those tournament beauties.

The tournament styled Command Bridge makes running the boat easy with great visability as the captain is keeping track of all the lines in the water.

Beautiful interior accommodations include a large spacious main salon with lots of head room, Galley to port with all the appliances and conveniences of home, and an Entertainment Center to starboard.  The two staterooms are forward and down a few steps with the Master Stateroom all the way forward and a guest stateroom with 2 over/under twin beds.  The head has a separate shower stall, Vacu-Flush toilet, and beautiful vanity.

The interior has a neutral designer decor and will be truly appreciated by any first mate and guests.  Although this is a true serious fishing machine, it has the beauty and accommodations and comfort of a family cruiser/motor yacht.  The owners will have the best of both worlds!

The Carolina flare and wide beam of the Luhrs 40 Convertible assures owners of a dry, comfortable, and stable ride in offshore swells or nasty chop. The command bridge offers plenty of electronics space, lots of seating, and plenty of storage. Even a portable cooler is standard to eliminate trips to the galley. A sturdy half-tower with mounting pads for the radar and antennas is standard. Other incredible standards include reverse-cycle air conditioning / heat plus an 8kW diesel generator. Fishing features are not to be forgotten and tackle drawers, a livewell, dual washdowns, a sink, and fishboxes are all included as standard. Power options are configured to provide the best value and performance for the way owners will use the boat, and all are time-tested for durability and service. Luhrs is proud of their boats and the construction methods are proven for their longevity and strength. All materials are purchased from the best manufactures and strict guidelines are adhered to in accepting the materials for inclusion in a Luhrs. The accommodations below are a reflection of the beauty outside.

Accommodations

Rich maple and beautiful fabrics work in harmony with the padded carpet and galley hardwood floor to present an elegant but durable interior. The large wide main salon features a convertible L-shaped sofa to starboard and a settee to port with storage below. 

 

Forward of the Galley down a few steps are the staterooms and head.  The Master Stateroom is all the way forward with a centerline queen berth with drawer storage below. The Stateroom also has port and starboard cedar-lined hanging lockers, overhead hatch for ventilation and light, and a convenient private access door to the head.   

The Guest Stateroom features generour over/under twin berths, cedar lined hanging locker, and an overhead hatch for light and ventilation.

A dual access head is both convenient and private and features Vacu-Flush toilet, separate walk-in stall shower, Corian-covered vanity and cabinets.
