Overview

ONTARIO was built in 1992 by the world-renowned German shipyard Lürssen and underwent a thorough refit in Nobiskrug, Germany in 2001. ONTARIO has been pristinely maintained with a vigorous maintenance programme put in place. ONTARIO has a timeless Gilgenast design and impeccable German engineering; she presents substantial volume for a 46 meter displacement yacht. She is set over 3 decks with a full load of 488 gross tons and an impressive 9.6 meter beam providing ample interior and exterior space.

ONTARIO has a strong steel hull and aluminum superstructure, offering outstanding sea keeping and complete
safety and stability in all types of sea conditions. ONTARIO is powered by low emission certified twin Caterpillar 3508 B engines, providing economical fuel consumption (156 litres per hour at 11.6 knots). She has a 7000 nautical mile range and a fuel capacity of 104,000 litres. All of the navigation and GMDSS communication systems are current and she also includes Voseper stabilizers.

The interiors of ONTARIO were designed by Danielo Silvestrin, creating a modern stately ambience. There is a large salon with dining area, leading forward into a grand study and library containing a unique skylight and panoramic windows curving 180º. ONTARIO can accommodate up to 10 guests in her five cabin suites. The master suite is situated towards the aft of the owner’s deck; it includes a study area, a walk-in dressing room, a beautifully appointed en-suite bathroom and direct access onto the owner’s deck. There are four other sumptuous guest suites, including two king-size and two doubles, all of which boast large en-suite bathrooms and storage areas. The exterior deck spaces are also impressive, providing great entertaining areas; there is a private sundeck which includes an aluminum partial hardtop sunshade, large seating area, sun loungers and a large Jacuzzi.
There is a hydraulic fold down swimming platform for easy water access, whether swimming or using water toys, and storage on the aft deck for two large tenders. ONTARIO is a commercially registered Charter Yacht, Bureau Veritas Class maintained with Maltese Hull and Maltese Mach.
