Overview

Just traded, Hula Girl is seriously for sale. New Cushions August 2016. New side curtains February 2017. Entire boat gone over thoroughly. One of the few Rum Runner models. She needs a new home!

Overview

One of the few Mainship Pilot 30 Rum Runners, this vessel has only had 2 owners since new. She has been stored on the hard and shrink wrapped every winter since new. 

Starting at the transom, she has a full beam swim platform with a tuck away swim ladder. Entering the boat through the transom door, you find an ample sized cockpit, with a 30 amp shore power inlet to port, and stainless steel rodholders on both port and starboard gunnels. A flagpole socket is mounted centerline on the transom covering board.

Moving forward, there are 2 long bench seats on both sides that can seat 2 adults on each side, with large storage compartments underneath. In the center is the hydraulically assisted engine hatch, with a socket for the cocktail table in the floor. The teak varnished table can be used here as well as in the cabin. There are twin helm seats to port and starboard, where 4 people can sit. The helm is to starboard, with the electronics and all necessary switches and gauges close at hand. The upgraded teak control mount is all the way to starboard. A teak trimmed steering wheel finishes off the helm area nicely. There is a bimini top with side curtains (side curtains new in February 2017) and rear drop curtains that can be removed during warm weather. The 3 panel windshield has a windshield wiper on the starboard side in front of the helm. All exterior cushions were replaced in August of 2016, with new vinyl and foam. 

As you enter the cabin, the galley is directly on the port side, with a 2 burner stove, refrigerator with freezer, tons of storage and a large in-counter icebox. The AC and DC breaker panel is on the bulkhead in the galley. To the starboard side is the enclosed head, with electric head, a sink with a vanity and mirror and ample storage. 

There are twin jump seats on both the port and starboard side. The removable teak table (professionally refinished in Februsty 2017) fits in the floor between them to set up a small dining area if you so wish. Forward is a large V-berth, with a filler cushion. There are large storage areas under the jump seats and under the forward V-Berth. There is a center Bowmar hatch and all of the stainless steel portlights have screens.

Forward on the bow is a large anchor locker, with a bow pulpit and anchor chute.
