Overview
"Two Two Eight" has a 2010 model single 380 HP Yanmar diesel engine which came complete from the factory with new ZF reduction gear and electronic controls. A second station electronic control was added to the upper station. A new exhaust riser was fabricated and installed which corrected what seemed to be an inherent problem with the Mainship 390. The local Yanmar dealer in Ft. Lauderdale verified engine installation and performance and initiated the five year warranty on February 26th, 2010.The new engine meets CE emmission standards allowing the vessel to be imported to EU countries without difficulty, and came with a full five year warranty from Yanmar. New drippless shaft seal was installed and all exterior canvas was renewed.
The Single Yanmar Diesel and Sidepower Bow thruster makes her both economical to operate and easy to manuever. Semi Displacement hull with flat after sections allows the vessel to run easily thru the water giving the yacht good fuel economy. A long keel and skeg hung rudder protects the running gear. A wide 14' beam makes the vessel roomy inside and also allows for safe walk around decks. Having both upper and lower helm stations the vessel can be run in any weather comfortably. A spacious cockpit, molded steps to the large flybridge which overhangs the cockpit, and a fully eisenglass enclosed upper helm make this a very well thought out cruising boat. Other features include deep, well protected side decks, a transom door and integral swim platform, a radar mast and a beautifully crafted teak interior. "Two Two Eight's" interior is beautifully crafted and featurers a centerline queen in the forward master and twin berths in the port side guest cabin. ASKING PRICE IS COMPARABLE TO ANY 2003 MAINSHIP 390 WITH SINGLE YANMAR DIESEL, AND THIS VESSEL HAS A 2010 ENGINE!
Walkthrough
"Two Two Eight's"interior is beautifully crafted in cherry wood. The trim has been varnished with a high gloss finish. Features include a new 380 hp Yanmar diesel with electronic controls, installed in January 2010. New upper and lower station controls were installed with the new engine. The vessel has the dark green Imron hull and Glacier White flybridge.
