Overview

New Listing - Very nice and clean Mainship 34s with well maintained mechanical equipment and numerous upgrades throughout including new reverse cycle AC/Heat unit installed in September. Equipped for travel, this will make the perfect Great Loop boat with the single economical Perkins 165hp diesel with a range of 440 nmi. This model features a full fly bridge layout with hard top overhang covering the aft cockpit. Upper and lower helm stations allow for travel in all weather conditions. Custom mahogany cabinetry throughout opens up the floor space while increasing storage. Equipped with a 2011 Northern Lights 5kw genset with sound enclosure.

Mainship 34 - Walk Through

Access onto Queen Neptune is from either the port or starboard gunwales.  There is a movable ladder (2 steps) that connects to the port and starboard side coming to make stepping down into the aft cockpit easier. The spacious cock pit with hard top cover allows access to the salon or up to the fly bridge. 
The full fly bridge features the upper helm, helm seat and side back to back seating.  There is added space behind the helm seating for additional table and chairs.  There is a bimini top and custom cover for the helm station area. 
Access to the salon is through the glass sliding door.  First impression of the salon is the extensive custom mahogany cabinetry to starboard and to port forward.  Starboard forward is the lower helm station.  To the port side of the salon is the fold out couch for added sleep area and folding dinette that is tucked away aft to port.
Down two steps from the salon is the fully functional U-shaped galley to port and full head to starboard.  Forward is the main berth, with privacy door.  Overhead hatches within the galley and forward berth provide added lighting and ventilation.

Mainship 34 - Aft Cockpit

The aft cockpit area features the hard top extension of the fly bridge, teak rail caps to port, starboard and along the transom, movable access stairs, stainless steel and wood tread ladder up.  Under the ladder are the water fills for the two 50gal fresh water tanks (50gal bladder tank/50gal poly tank).  To port of the ladder mounted to the cabin bulkhead is a boat hook holder, fire extinguisher and ship's bell. Mounted on the starboard bulkhead is the second fire extinguisher, 30amp shore power connection and raw water wash-down connection.
Under the cockpit floor though the lazarette hatch is access the water tanks, , HW heater cased in stainless steel cover, hydraulic steering system, and storage for the raw water hoses, spare bumpers and lines, and 50ft of water hose.
Aft of the cockpit and along the transom are rope racks to port and starboard as well as floor drains in each corner. The teak swim platform features a swim ladder and weaver davit system (no picture available and no dinghy included).   

Mainship 34 - Decking & Equipment

The Mainship 34 offers wide side decks for easy access forward and aft.  There are stainless steel hand rails along the fly bridge and cabin housing for added safety while traversing the decks.  The foredeck features the windlass system with ground tackle consisting of two sets of anchors and ground tackle (Bruce w/ 40ft of chain/200ft line & 22# Danforth w/ 30ft chain/200ft line).  
Upgrades: - Forward deck railings and cockpit fasteners were recorded in 2013 - All fastening into the cored deck drilled oversized and filled with epoxy prior to rails being reinstalled.
 - Topsides refinished with Interlux Perfection 2 part polyureathane in 2014
 - Striping and graphics replaced 2014 


Mainship 34 Fly Bridge

A beneficial feature of the fly bridge is the extended deck to aft and that serves as a protective cover for the lower cockpit and provides additional open space on the bridge for seating, table space, mounting a grill, etc. There is ample seating forward for 5+ with the central helms seat and the back-to-back fold down seats to port and starboard that further seating capacity. 
The helm station is eye catching with the custom teak dash that was installed in 2106. Up-to-date instrumentation, controls and engine gauges include: - Richie Compass - Garmin GPSmaps 740s (chart plotter, sonar, radar with combination screens) - Garmin Striker DV Fishfinder - Engine gauges (oil pressure, engine water temperature, rpm, volt meter) - Throttle controls - Horn - Windlass controls - Bow Thruster controls - Stereo speakers - Standard Horizon VHF
A custom under dash removable panel allows easy access to the electrical banks for all instrumentation and gauges.  There are also under dash storage shelves to port and starboard of the helm station. 
The fly bridge has great visibility both forward and aft aiding in navigation and docking.
Updates: - Fly bridge dash was replaced with teak panels 2016   - Railings fasteners were re-cored in 2013 with all fastenings into the cored deck drilled, oversized and filled with epoxy prior to rails being reinstalled.
 - Fly bridge decking was refinished with nonskid textured finish in 2017

Mainship 34 - Salon

The salon is well laid out and spacious and features custom cabinetry, lower helm station, full size sliding windows, pull out sleeper sofa, wood dinette table. Interior of boat was refurbished with custom mahogany cabinets along the starboard side and a corner cabinet to forward port.  This greatly increased floor space and storage with the main starboard cabinetry having full counter top space, drawers and cabinets (3 drawers down, 2 full double cabinets across and 5 drawers across the bottom). The port corner cabinet has a working counter surface and 3 drawers.  
The two sets of sliding windows to port and starboard are in excellent working conditions, with screens and best of all no leaks.
Along the port side is the wood dinette stored between the salon aft bulkhead and sleeper sofa and corner cabinet.  The dinette table has two side wings that opens up to a full size table.  The sofa bed provides added accommodations for 2 adults.  Mounted to the aft side of the corner cabinet is the controls for the reverse cycle AC/heat system and a convenience USB port.
Along the starboard side is the full cabinetry as discuss, stereo and VHF radio mounted to the side of the cabinet, electrical panel and full lower helm station.  
The helm station has a full bank of engine controls and instrumentation including: - Richie compass - Fuel gauge and tank switch controls - Bow thruster - Raw water wash down pump switch - Wiper switch - Cabin lighting - Horn - Running lights / anchor lights - Engine start, shut down and preheat - Throttle controls - Bilge pump - USB port for tie into hand help GPS systems (can be synced with upper helm GPS) - APELCO VHF Radio - Blue Seas System - VMS systems monitor (monitors holding tank, with added capacity for monitoring battery systems, fuel and AC system)
Across the front of the salon and as one steps down into the lower galley are 3 full glass windows that are in great condition and do not have any leaks. 
Upgrades: - Wall coverings and headliners were replaced in 2014 - Carpets new in 2015
 - Led lighting throughout the boat - Blue Seas System 2016 - Webasto 16,000 BTU AC unit w/ reverse heat and dehumidification settings 2017


Mainship 34 - Galley

Two steps down from the salon is the galley to port.  The U-shaped galley is fully functional and includes the following features: - Force 10 electric three burner range with oven

 - Oversized drawer below stove for pot storage

The galley also features ample storage space with 2 cabinets and shelving above the counter, 2 sliding glass door cabinets at counter level and 1 double cabinet down.
A unique feature is the hide-away in-counter trash cabinet that solves the age old problem of where to put the trash cans.
There is also new LED lighting above the sink.


Mainship 34 - Accommodations

Queen Neptune accommodations are set up to sleep 4 adults with the pull out sleeper sofa in the salon and the forward V-berth.  The forward V-berth has a removable padded filler to provide a full double berth for 2 adults.  Ample storage is provided by port and starboard shelving above the berth, port and starboard hanging lockers with above counter space, and under berth drawers (3) and cabinets (2). 
Added features include an AC vent above the port hanging locker, overhead hatch with screen, portals to port and starboard, overhead LED strip lighting, access to the anchor locker

Mainship 34 - Head

Down 2 steps from the salon and to starboard is the head.  The head features: - Atlantis Freedom Vortex-vac flush toilet with macerator - Molded sink and counter top with Glacier Bay faucet  - Convenience outlet - Above counter cabinets (1 set and 1 sliding door cabinets) - Portal with screen - Dome overhead light (non LED) - Solar vent
The head has been modified with additional drawers and medicine cabinets to enhance storage space.
There is a full size separate shower to aft with folding glass doors, dome light, shower seat and sliding cabinet.
Both the head and shower have wooden slate floors.
