Vessel Overview
WRIGHT AWAY is a spacious 3BR pilothouse yacht built by McKinna yachts of Newport Beach, California. She has enjoyed numerous updates over the years, and shows very well, in keeping with the care her owner's have given her. A generous swim platform leads to a well protected cockpit (complete with full control wing station). Through the large stainless sliders one enters a very comfortable salon/galley combination on the main deck level with two large couches for seating and complete entertainment system. Up three stairs to the pilothouse resides a large settee for dining, as well as the lower helm station for inclement, and/or climate-controlled operation. Below the three guest cabins consist of a full-beam en-suite master, a very spacious VIP forward cabin, and a port side over-under two-bunk cabin for crew, kids or additional guests.
Cockpit
WRIGHT AWAY's cockpit makes for a perfect bluewater setup with high gunnels, self draining scuppers and comfortable size.
For the coastal cruiser there is plenty of room for a couple deck chairs and a table for the evening cocktails. And for the loopers, strong cleats with easy access and solid deck hardware will make the locks a breeze!

The success of the McKinna 57 Pilothouse is due in large part to its broad appeal - more than 40 of the McKinna 57's have been delivered since the boat was first introduced in 1997. The deck design is quite versatile and can be configured to most any need. What's more, although the list of standard features is impressive, the options are numerous as well. The 3 stateroom layout offers gracious and spacious accommodations for family and guests.
At the dock, the 57 Pilothouse is a study in stylish lines and flowing curves. However, on open water is where passengers will appreciate the effort of the McKinna design team put into creating this world-class yacht. The ride is smooth and quiet. The deep-V hull, with its 22-degree entry angle and 18.5 degrees of deadrise at the transom, provides excellent stability in most any sea conditions.
