Meridian's top of the line! The 580 is a great cruising yacht with three staterooms, a roomy salon with 3 separate seating areas, large professional galley and separate pilothouse. The large flying bridge is great for cruising or entertaining and has and features a power crane for easy tender launch and retrieval.
Her "biggest in class" beam provides generous space for gathering on deck. A molded staircase provides access to the bridge from the cockpit. There's also direct access to the bridge from the pilothouse. A high-gloss real cherry wood interior creates a timeless elegance. A standard salon entertainment center with 32-inch TV, AM/FM stereo and CD/DVD player expands your options. A full beam master stateroom with regular queen-size innerspring mattress is the height of luxurious comfort.
Enter the roomy salon from the cockpit thru stainless steel framed sliding glass doors. There is a settee to port as well as a club chair, and a curved settee to starboard, making a great conversation area. Forward of the starboard settee is a large curved dinette facing the professional galley, to port. The galley has a full compliment of stainless appliances. Forward of the galley up 2 steps is the full beam pilothouse with center helm, and l-shaped settee just aft of the helm chair. There are sliding doors leading to side decks, port and starboard.
Stairs lead down starboard to the 3 staterooms. The master suite is aft of the stairs and has a large queen bed to port facing the master vanity and sink, starboard. Aft of the vanity behind a privacy door is the head and shower with tub!
Forward of the master is the bunk stateroom with two berths large enough for adults and across from the guest head and shower. Forward is the VIP guest stateroom with queen size island berth on center and direct access to the guest head and shower.
From the pilothouse you can go up inside stairs to the bridge or get there via stairs to starboard in the cockpit, also on the starboard side. These stairs lift easily to gain access to the stand-up engine room.
The flying bridge features dual helm seats on center, and an L-shaped settee on the port side with seating for 6. All important electronics are duplicated on the bridge.
Galley
The galley is located forward of the salon and to port of the dinette. It features a full-size stainless steel refer/freezer, dual stainless steel sinks, 4-burner range with large oven and a micro/convection oven as well. To make life aboard easier there is also a dishwasher. There is a trash compactor as well.
Flying Bridge
The flying bridge has a full enclosure forward of the boat deck and features two high quality helm chairs, a wet bar, dinette, and seating for a crowd.
