Accomodations & Layout

"Cabernet" features a large two stateroom layout with down galley giving the salon a large open feeling with just the right amount of separation to the galley. The salon has a large settee to port and two chairs to starboard. The salon upholstery is in very good condition. The table is a drop-leaf type for easy stowage.

The master stateroom is aft with an island queen berth, hanging lockers, ample drawer storage and separate head and stall shower. The forward guest stateroom has a centerline double berth, hanging locker and drawer storage.  There is a day/guest head just aft to starboard directly across from the galley.

The salon on "Cabernet" is bathed in natural light from her large windows.  There is plenty of seating for friends and family.  The rich teak interior is warm and inviting and features the following:

Mechanical

 The engines are Perkins engines rated at 200hp. These engines are turbocharged. The size and horsepower is ample which makes for an ideal combination with the heavy semi-displacement CHB hull. These engines are well noted for their longevity, fuel economy and smooth running.  Fuel consumption noted 4.5 gallons per hour @ 1800RPM or approximately 10 knots.
