Walkthrough

This 298 SC was purchased by the current owner with only 25 hours on the twin Volvo! The knowledgeable owner removed the factory arch and stored it safely rather than throwing it in the scrap pile. They also added a 3 kW Westerbeke generator so that all the comforts of the cabin could be enjoyed while away from the dock!

298 SC is a true performer. With twin 5.7 Volvos she is easily able to achieve speeds in excess of 50 mph. The deep vee hull is stable and confident allowing this boat to cruise comfortably through nearly all sea conditions.

Whether cruising or relaxing at the beach the ample seating makes the most of the space in the 298 SC. The over-sized helm seat allows the captain space to move while to the port the lounge can be a bench for two, or an aft facing chaise. The cockpit features a nearly full beam bench with a sun pad aft. While entertaining in the cockpit the full wet bar to port is sure to see plenty of action!

Remarkably, this still leaves space for a generous cabin. Able to sleep 4, the 298 SC boasts a full galley with cherry wood cabinets and a fully enclosed head with shower. The forward dinette converts to a V berth while under the deck is a mid-cabin. Truly a great use of space!
