Overview

Moonen developed the “94 Alu” model specifically for clients attracted to the efficient, popular four-cabin layout of the Moonen 84 Displacement cruiser, but who asked for greater interior volume and faster semi-displacement performance.

Equipped with slightly lower-power engines and fixed propellers in tunnels, which moderate her top speed to around 22 knots.

Delivered in 2007 Infinity has since enjoyed an extensive refit that included a new paint job and the addition of CMC zero-speed stabilisers to further enhance comfort at anchor. Maintained in impeccable condition, she is probably the best 30-metre yacht available on the market today

COMMENTS

The yacht is outfitted with a custom made top quality interior designed by Art-Line.  The main interior wood is silk sprayed Anigré wood combined with fabric details, sunny coloured upholstery and painted details. Floors are carpeted, stone flooring in galley and teak and holly flooring in the wheelhouse. Ceilings are upholstered except  for galley and bathrooms. Bathrooms have cream coloured marble floors and tops. New interior covers and one touch electric blinds in the saloon.

ACCOMMODATION

The owner’s ensuite bath is shifted starboard to open the bedroom space; the starboard guest cabin area is devoted to a full-service laundry; the forward cabin is set up as a “leisure room,” with a convertible sofabed, for relaxed reading or watching TV; the crew quarters are larger, with a double cabin and single opposite, with mess between.

SYSTEMS

Bilge system: Two electrical general service pumps in engine room, suction points through the yacht, connected to a manifold. The fore peak has a separate bilge pump.

Fire extinguishing: The general service pump in the bilge system are also used for the fi-fi system, with several hose connections through the yacht.. A Novec hand remote extinguishing system in the engine room and free standing foam extinguishers in each area.

Fresh water system: Integrated and painted water tank, one water pressure systems, one 170litres water heater with two electrical heating elements and direct heating from the generators. A hot water circulation pump is installed for instant hot water supply, Idromar Duplex MC2 water maker, sand & carbon filters,  dosing Unit and UV sterilizer.  

Sanitary flushing system: Two grey tanks and one black water tank are connected in an overboard stack in the engine room to the Hamann Super Mini sewage treatment system with a shore connection.

Hydraulic system: A Cramm central hydraulic system with a collection tank, pumps at the two main engines and an electrical harbour pump, serving the bow thruster,  steering system, capstans and anchor winches.

Air pressure system:  One air compressor with a horn in the mast.

HVAC: Frequency controlled engine room ventilator with fire shutter and one mist eliminator in the intake. Marine Air, Caribbean condition, air conditioning with a chiller in the engine room and fan coils in the accommodations. Heating through reverse cycle.  Towel heaters and floor heating in bathrooms.
