Overview

Beautiful dark hulled Swan 55 from 1991 by Frers. Heavily updated in her current owner ship. The full particulars give some insight in to the extent of the recent spend on the Kirsimara. Definitely worth closer examination.

Offered to co-brokers on a commission split of 50/50.

Broker's Comments

KIRSIMARIA had a major refit in 2009, when this owner purchased her in the USA. Well over $350,000 was spent during the refit, and an additional EU 100,000 has been spent on upgrades since her arrival back in Europe. She has been used for light family cruising since that time, and is in lovely condition, in and out.

Description of layout from forwards:

KIRSIMARIA has a wonderful layout for the cruising family with guests coming to visit. Because of the centre cockpit deck layout, the headroom down below is superb, making her feel much larger than a 57. The original owner has the floorboard option, which also required the table and seats to be modified, so as to take advantage of the full view out of the hull windows, as well as make space for extra fuel tankage providing long range motoring capacity.

The owner’s cabin aft has a large berth to starboard, with totally private en-suite heads compartment/shower stall. There is a settee on port side, hanging lockers, clothing lockers and small vanity, as well as a safe for valuables.

As she is a Swan and the layout only varies slightly in these boats, the galley is on port side, running fore and aft, with sinks inboard, and engine on centerline in a separate engine room with door to galley. The stove is a propane burner with tanks in locker on deck. The nav. seat was also made wider at the time of build.

Main saloon has offset teak table with L-shaped seating, and a bench seat on centerline. There is a stool that fits on the aft end of the table. On starboard side of the saloon are two ‘easy’ chairs with small teak table between.

Moving forward, off the passage is an upper/lower berth cabin with hanging lockers and table with cabinet on port side, with head/stall shower on starboard side of the passage. Full private V-berth cabin with hanging lockers, cabinets and small vanity with folding stool.
