Additional Information

Starboard Salon/Galley entrance

Unique to the Nordhavn 57 design is the starboard a midship entrance which provides access to an enclosed area (vestibule) between the outer sliding door, the stairs leading down to the engine room, and the inner teak salon / galley door. This allows one to remove foul weather gear without bringing outside air or elements into the main salon / galley. Columbus was the first N 57 designed with a built-in wet-locker within this space to store wet gear such as jackets, boots, etc. Convenient access to the stand-up engine room can also be provided through this pathway without requiring access to the rest of the vessel.

Swim Platform

By removing the standard center locker located on the stern of most Nordhavn 57’s, Columbus has a larger and more functional integrated swim platform without requiring an added extension deck. The additional space makes it easier to maneuver on the aft swim platform including easier access for the boarding of guests and pets into or out of the ships tender, kayak, or other recreational related activity.
