Closing Remarks

Bought by her present owner in 2005, MEREDITH was first used by him and his family as a daysailer on  San Francisco Bay.  In 2008 she began to cruise as far south as Puerto Vallarta and as far north as Victoria, B.C.  She was caught in a 4 day gale off the coast of Oregon and kept her crew dry and comfortable throughout.   In 2012 she embarked for Panama, Cartagena, Grand Cayman, Key West and Fort Lauderdale.  In 2014 MEREDITH cruised the Berry Islands, Nassau, and the Exumas in the Bahamas.  She resides, at present, in Fort Lauderdale where she serves as a part time SPIRIT OF AUSTRALIA, and sports a kangaroo on the plexi cover of her wine cellar.  MEREDITH is the owner's family name and loosely translates from Welsh as "Guardian of the Sea."   She turns heads wherever she goes!
