Access to Miss Charlotte Louise can be accomplished through the swim platform/transom door or from the starboard or port sides of the cockpit with the movable step. The spacious cockpit has both under deck storage and side storage. There is also a built-in sink, bait prep area, access to the engine room, access to the fly bridge and access to the salon. The isinglass enclosed fly bridge offers 360 degree views with ample seating for 6-8. The helm has easy to reach electronics at both the dash and overhead. The forward windshield center panel opens for ventilation as do the side and aft panels of the isinglass.

Through the aft deck salon door, the modern and spacious salon has comfortable seating in the L-shaped sofa to port and settee/dinette to mid cabin starboard. The galley up offers parallel counter space with under counter refrigerators and freezer, a hide-a-way cook top and sink and lots of storage drawers and cabinets.
Down the companionway steps are the 3 staterooms, offering double berths and a centerline queen berth in the master stateroom. Ample storage drawers, cabinets and hanging lockers are provided in each of the staterooms. The guest head and the master stateroom heads have vanities, counter space, under cabinet storage, electric heads and standup showers.

The engine room is clean and spacious and is accessible via the cockpit.

The cockpit is very spacious and uncluttered with a place for everything. There are multiple access points onto the vessel either though the transom door or the port and starboard sides via a moveable step down. There are 4 underdeck storage lockers (2 port / 2 starboard) as well as port and starboard side storage for boat hooks, lines and fishing equipment. To starboard forward are the cockpit engine controls, additional cabinet, retractable shore power inlet, and raw water wash down. To port forward are the aft deck sink, bait prep area, and built-in tackle box cabinet. There is a second raw water wash down located to port and aft of the sink and bait prep area. There are also built-in stereo speakers. From the cockpit, there is access to the engine room, salon and fly bridge.

The swim platform and decks were all painted with Alexseal in 2013.  The aft deck teak coaming was refinished with Awlwood clear gloss in 2016.

The fly bridge helm  is completely enclosed with front safety glass and isinglass to port, starboard and aft. The center windshield and isinglass all open for great ventilation. In addition, the front has windshield wipers and washer.  The fly bridge is well laid out with seating for 6-8 with cushioned bench seats (recovered in 2012) to port and forward of the helm console and with the dual captain’s chairs. There is ample storage space with cabinets located forward to port and starboard as well as under bench seat storage. A magic chef under counter refrigerator is located aft of the port bench seat.

The helm station offers instrumentation within arm’s length at the console and to port and overhead. There is a center helm Danforth compass, bow / stern thrusters, engine controls and gauges, Airmar weather station and Raymarine depth sounder. To port of the helm are the Garmin Blue Chart and GPSMAP. Overhead is the Garmin VHF marine radio, Fusion Unidock Marine stereo, engine instrumentation and electrical controls/switches.

The Vetus 7kW 24-volt stern thruster was installed in 2013.

The fly bridge is completely air conditioned with multiple vents throughout.

The fly bridge super structure and T-top were painted with Alexseal in 2012.

Upon entering the salon from the aft deck, the L-shaped sofa and adjustable table are immediately to port.  To starboard is an upholstered chair, custom bar, sink, Vitrifigo ice maker and liquor dispenser system for all of your favorite spirits. There are storage cabinets (1 single, 1 double) and counter space adjacent and aft of the bar. A GHS20/GWH20 handheld VHF Bundle is located adjacent to the salon access door.

Forward of the bar area is the settee / dinette with a center table.  The new built-in entertainment system with big screen Sony TV is located adjacent and forward of the settee. To port of the settee is the galley.

All of the tinted salon windows have retractable blinds

To center forward of the salon is the access hallway to the 3 staterooms.  Located within the hallway are additional storage cabinets and a raised shelf.  To port in the hallway is the climate controls, to starboard the Global Fix IPRO CAT 1 EPIRB.

Upgrades to the salon include new teak and holy sole woodwork throughout, entertainment system and bar ice maker.

The U-shaped galley, located to port forward in the salon has dual countertops forward and aft.  There is a hide-a-way Forceio cook top and galley sink along the forward counter,  The sink features a Moen faucet with an extension hose.  Cabinetry above the counter consists of 2 double cabinets over 3 single cabinets, with under cabinet lighting.  Below counter cabinetry is comprised of 2 doubles and also features 3 drawers.

The aft galley counter has an under counter double Vitrofrigo refrigerator and a Vitrofrigo combination refrigerator and freezer with storage cabinet between. There is an added under counter double cabinet along the port side of the galley.

The Vitrpfrigo refrigerators (3) and freezer (1) were replaced in 2013.

Access to the ARID Bilge System is through the galley floor.

The Ocean 48 features 3 staterooms (guest, crew, master).  The guest birth located to port features a double berth, hanging locker, wall cabinets (4), under berth drawers (5) and side table.  Built into the side table has a JVC CD/stereo and individual room climate control.

The guest berth has a connected head consisting of a vanity with under counter storage, sink with Moen faucet, electric head and full stand up enclosed shower.

The crew stateroom consists of a double birth, hanging locker, drawers (8) and counter space.  

Between the crew stateroom and the master stateroom  is the above/below Kenmore washer dryer.

The mater stateroom features a centerline queen birth with cabinet storage to port and to starboard (3 & 3).  There are drawers (3) under the birth as well for additional storage. Hanging lockers with lights are located port and starboard (1 each).  There is also an overhead hatch.

The master head is located aft starboard of the master stateroom and has a vanity with a double cabinet below, sink with Moen faucet, electric head, hatch and dual access doors.

Updates include new teak and Holly Sole in the master and guest heads, new Vacuflush heads and new Vacuum generators installed in 2013.
