Overview

The proven Super Shoal design of the Oyster 625 features twin rudder steering with a hydraulically-operated bronze centerboard keel. The minimum draft with board up is 6’-0”; when down, draft increases to 13’-10”, yielding awesome upwind performance.

Cruise the Bahamas, Chesapeake and Florida inlets with peace of mind. Maneuver into the tightest of slips with confidence, thanks to bow and stern thrusters.

Below decks, KATHARA’s 4-cabin layout is unique to the other 625’s on the market, with a queen berth forward in the VIP cabin.

The design brief and equipment list that make up the build of KATHARA are the result of the owner’s past experience with two previous Oyster models. The lessons learned in boat handling, living aboard, maintaining and servicing the yacht were all taken into consideration.

Her many features include marine-grade thru-hulls below the waterline, high-capacity water maker, weight-saving aluminum AB RIB, fresh water heads, queen berth forward for guest comfort, convertible workshop cabin, flush-mounted deck hatches, electric davits with spectra lines, larger-than-standard wheels, sail locker, tool storage, communications, push-button sail handling, electric primary and secondary winches and halyards set up to be easily routed to powered winches.

The result is a stunning yacht where every detail has a purpose and makes sense to both experienced and novice sailors alike. Fit with an extensive amount of spares, KATHARA is ready for her next adventure.

Duty-paid and built to a U.S. electrical specification, she is an ideal boat for a U.S. or Caribbean owner.
