Vessel Walkthrough

"HIGH MAINTENANCE" features a four stateroom, plus aft crew arrangement with a shallow draft perfect for Bahamas cruising.

The salon features a comfortable custom L-shaped settee with abundant storage underneath, settee table, chairs, state-of-the-art entertainment, and a large custom bar area forward and cabinetry to starboard. The 85’ Mariner has excellent interior natural lighting and exterior visibility out due to large windows and her open Salon.

The Galley and Day Head are located at Pilothouse level adjacent to the Day Head and aft of the forward-facing Dinette. This arrangement allows guests aboard to enjoy the cruise along with the crew. Altogether there are three separate dining areas and two large bars both on deck and Flybridge level for unsurpassed versatility and gracious entertaining.

The Pilothouse arrangement places both upper & lower helm stations on centerline for exceptional visibility. Port and starboard Pilothouse doors ensure easy access to side decks.

The full-beam private Master cabin is accessed by a separate staircase from the Main Salon. At the base of this staircase is the main cabin laundry stack at the staircase landing. The Master Stateroom features a large centerline king berth with night stands and overhead reading / accent lighting. There are abundant drawer banks outboard, with a separate desk and lighted make-up vanity. There is a large TV with stereo entertainment. The Master has his and hers hanging lockers outboard on both sides aft, and a large en-suite head with garden tub, large shower, dual vanity sinks, Headhunter toilet and storage cabinets.

One of the best attributes of the 85 Mariner layout is the forward guest cabin arrangement. There are two VIP cabins plus a twin bed cabin accessed from the Pilothouse stairway. All of these cabins feature en-suite heads.

The forward VIP Stateroom has a centerline queen berth with built-in side night shelving, overhead reading and accent lights, drawer storage outboard and under the berth, and a hanging locker and cabin entertainment including TV. This stateroom features its own head with lighted vanity, sink with storage cabinet underneath, mirror, shower, and Headhunter toilet.

The Port Guest Stateroom features side-by-side berths, overhead reading and accent lights, center nightstand with drawer storage, drawer storage under the berths, hanging locker and its own en-suite head with lighted vanity, sink with storage cabinet underneath, mirror, shower, and Headhunter toilet.
The starboard Guest Stateroom features a large athwartship queen berth with nightstands with drawer storage, overhead reading lights, drawer storage under the berth, hanging locker, and cabin entertainment with TV. This stateroom has its own en-suite head with lighted vanity, sink with storage cabinet underneath, mirror, shower, and Headhunter toilet.

The 85 Mariner has access to “the tunnel” in the center of the landing in the companionway forward with tremendous space for provisioning storage.

Access to the Flybridge is either from the Aft Deck or amidship interior, both via spiral staircase. The Flybridge has a full helm station with complete navigational electronics package mirroring that of the Pilothouse helm. There are Stidd chairs for the helm and guest companions, a settee with table for dining, a large bar with wine cooler, drawer refrigeration, sink, and drawer storage. This entire area is protected by a large fiberglass Hardtop with Acrylic enclosures. The Flybridge also has a unique feature with abundant freezer space for provisioning, as well as gear storage underneath the sun pad areas. The Boat Deck has a davit and multi-positioning flush-mounts for tenders and toys.

The Captain's and Crews Quarters are located aft of the full-beam Engine Room, and are accessed from both the Aft Deck and the Swim Platform.

The Captain’s berth is to starboard with an additional berth for a crew member to port. In this area the crew laundry units and storage are located. There is a crew head with shower forward.

Access to the Engine Room is through the crew access underneath the Aft Deck transom seat, or via the large transom watertight door.
